WHEN IT GOES WRONG ON TV IT'S A BLOOPER
We hope you have been enjoying the shows from 1997 we have been publishing over the recent weeks on RUclips. This week we've a got a shorter video for you but with plenty of laughs from the TV crew's screw ups and a cool 1997 highlights music clip to finish with.
Unfortunately we're then going to have to take a break from the Drag Racing 97 episodes as the ancient Sony Betacam SP broadcast tape machine we were using to play them for the digitising process decided to have its own blooper and crap itself part way through doing the 97 Winternationals of all things. We hope to find a replacement machine to complete digitising our archive but fortunately we had a large part of our shows already done. So there's plenty of content to keep publishing each week in the meantime. So next week we will begin putting up the entire 1998 season from Willowbank Raceway starting at Round 1 of the Castrol New Year Series which featured one of the toughest fields ever including American legend Scotty Canon, Victor Bray and his then team mate Troy Critchly plus Shane Elcoate, Peter Gratz, Peter Kapiris, Michael King, Andrew Searle and Lucky Belleri.
In the meantime enjoy a giggle with the Bloopers Reel as the Drag Racing 97 crew of Rob Oberg, Nathan Prendergast, Tanya Campbell and Paul Casos get it wrong.
