You should NEVER give a cat a bath when you just adopted them and bought him or her home one the first day. This can cause alot of Stress. You should’ve let them get used to the environment because this is a new place for the cat. He or she also doesn’t need a bath unless its for a special reason like maybe they are dirty or hadn’t had one in about 6 months. Some cat breeds may need a bath because for example you get a long haired cat it could hove some feces on the fur on the butt area. BUT PLEASE DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR CAT A BATH ON THE FIRST DAY. I do hope this helps future cat parents and you should always research :)

Your most watched yet your most controversial video based on negligence and lack of research, let's put a newly adopted cat right into the shower and then close the door, oh what could possibly go wrong?
So I’m just gonna put my 2 cents in, but it’s your very first time getting car right. You bring you cat home and the FIRST thing you do is put him in the tub to bathe him... it’s your cat first time knowing you and your house. He doesn’t know where he is or who you are. You need to let him explore your home as well as you so he could better get to know you. You just stressed him out so bad that he could lead to diseases later down the road if you continue to treat as like this.
What the heck?!?! You don not bathe a cat, especially on their first day home. You keep them to a room for a few days and spend lots of time with them bonding. Not traumatizing them. 😭 The poor baby! Those were not happy meows!
KidsToys Club Why shouldn’t they? I think it’s pretty stupid of them to not have done proper research , any animal you get is a HUGE responsibility; whether it’s a small hamster or a dog. it’s only obvious to do as much research as possible beforehand. he has a better live at the shelter!! And why would they get a cat to just put him back in a cage
This is not ok Bc first of all u can’t bathe the cat when u first get home it has to settle in for a while and they clean themselves if u really wanna bathe a cat just use a cloth but it can burn their skin. My other reason is why put it in a cage it’s Been in the cage for a while and yet it’s gonna be in a cage like u have to let it Rome around ur house for awhile 😐
NOOOOO I feel so bad for the cat🥺
I do hope this helps future cat parents and you should always research :)
trying to wash a cat the shower, lol, definitely never owned a cat before!!!!!!
Wow you could adopt same day ? I thought they make you come back a different time for pickup
1st. you look scared of the cat
2nd. you do NOT let cats sleep in a cage at night they like to be active
3rd. you guys are holding it so wrong
4th. DO NOT GIVE IT A SHOWER LIKE THAT
5th. let your cat do what she wasnts
im surprised you havent eaten it yet
i feel like the carrier could have been bigger, the poor baby has to crouch ll the way down. :(
oh poor kitty you’re supposed to use dry shampoo on cats to keep them clean!🐈 she/he was so scared and was hising under the bed and in the cabinet🥺 on her/his first day you’re supposed to make the cat feel safe and let them come to you and not just cuddling and patting them right after the moment you get them homeeeeeee
They gave this cat a bath like it was a dog 😂😭😂
What is the process? Do you need to have a vet and do you need to wait before taking the cat home or you can just take it the same day
you pay and sign the paper and take the cat home!
Ok the comments are filled with negative stuff I understand that they did something wrong but they clearly didn’t have a cat before
If you don’t mind me asking, around how much did you pay for it? Because I am thinking about buying one from pet smart but I want to make sure I have enough because I have to drive 2 hours to a pet smart, and also, did you have to sign the paper work and then go back another day and get it or can you just sign the papers the same day you get it?
85$ here in visalia, CA. 2 for 100$. u get the cat right after you sign the paperwork.
Btw guys! Congrats on getting a cat! But you don’t really need to bathe your cat (only if needed) but don’t do it all the time because they do it themselves 🤗
@Inside out no it’s bathe they said it right
@Umbreon3329 no its bathe
He is now at least 4 years old, I hope he is enjoying his current live :)
6:49 I understand Chinese’s she’s being very rude

Xdd underrated comment
watchu mean man that cat be lookin overated, we all kno thas a good choice fo belly
this made me so upset! poor cat :(
why would you bathe it when you first bring it ?
What are you doing cats bathe themselves and why did you get a cat cage they’re supposed to be outside the cage
Don’t take them a shower they cleans their self
Why the hell would you shower the cat then laugh when it try's to run to a safe place
I wish I never saw this video and now I will think of that poor little cat crying not to goin the bath, you are not responsible pet owners. I hope you know this. And I hope that poor little cat has a better life now that you know. Very very sad. And also when the cat does that it means he does not want to do it. Very disrespectful.
They later on ate it
This is a good Petsmart! They actually keep the cats well kept
thats right!
請問你們你們是台灣人,😀
yes!
Where are these PetSmart and Petco stores that have animals to adopt? All of them around me have no such thing.
california. maybe its a regional thing
You don’t keep a indoor cat in a cage it’s not a dog
nooo!!!!when i got my cat from a shelter i went to walmart to buy stuff for it.the worst thaing to do is to bathe it omg poor thaing.the you have to make the food fill the bottom of the boll.then put it in a cage smaller than the one it was in?you know what i see why thats your first time getting a cat.this made me sooooooooooooooooo mad.like if u agree(NO HATE)
The cat clearly did not like being in the water
I think buddy don't like shower. She like "no it's not okay" 6:08
Was your cat name buddy is he or She?
Hey man, how much was the adoption fee?

Bath wasn't needed. But glad you give a good home. Please make lifetime commitment
Im adopting a cat from petsmart tommorrow!!!
Subscribed to your channel!!!
OMG bathing a cat right after u come home that is not a way to gain a cats trust cats are not made for the water please do some reascher while having him or her im about to get my 1st cat and im doing my reascher
Your most watched yet your most controversial video based on negligence and lack of research, let's put a newly adopted cat right into the shower and then close the door, oh what could possibly go wrong?
You don’t bathe a cat when you literally just got it! You should research on cats before you get one! Poor cat couldn’t even settle in!
I’m coming up on a year with my kitty almost. I always come back to this vlog idk why lol
THEY WHERE LAUGHING WHEN THE POOR KITTY WAS TRYING TO HIDE AFTER BEING SHOWERED 7:38
What the heck?!?! You don not bathe a cat, especially on their first day home. You keep them to a room for a few days and spend lots of time with them bonding. Not traumatizing them. 😭 The poor baby! Those were not happy meows!
It’s just cruel for these people are trying to shower the cat but he’s loved and will live a long happy life
you’re not supposed to bathe a cat unless it has fleas or rolled in mud or something-
I am so over these comments, they are new to this , don’t be rude .
KidsToys Club Why shouldn’t they? I think it’s pretty stupid of them to not have done proper research , any animal you get is a HUGE responsibility; whether it’s a small hamster or a dog. it’s only obvious to do as much research as possible beforehand. This was just the worst way to introduce a cat into its new home
Berry I agree , when I sent that message , I was just so frustrated with the comments , because they are like my go to RUclipsrs !
@@Simonjarviskirk Stop acting like your so perfect, they just made a mistake, shit up and stop overreacting
I’m stressed for the day lmao
Gats groom themselves you know that and it’s not really necessary for you to give them baths
i saw that was either cold or hot water u gotta make it not cold not hot but not warm for us but room temp is warm for cats please learn things
Guys cats aren’t like dogs they don’t need a cage get rid of it and never put him in there
You didn't adopt a cat you Bought a cat.
my cat sort of likes baths
and it has short hair but still doesnt cry MEAW
UNLIKE THE 1
I think the little guy could have gone without the bath first thing. Needs time to adjust. Hope hes happy and enjoying life now 😊
