Honeslty i really like to see a original character in a crossover game, specially if is playable, because they stand out by the design, but also is i see it dangerous because the o.c.s can go unnoticed by characters that the people recognice more and are beloved than someone just debut in that game of how the fans receive them, specially now because i feel the people laugh of them, ignore or even get mad because they take away a slot for a better character that deservet.

Special mention should go out to the Extreme Gundam line in the Gundam Extreme VS series The original Extreme Gundam was the final boss of the first two iterations. You don't fight the machine itself. Instead it combines with massive armors that specialize in one of three roles: Melee, Long-Range and Assault. The melee version has a big sword that it can combo you with and could launch flying blades at you. The long range version had massive cannons it could carpet bomb the arena with and the assault one featured a bunch of attack drones that could freeze you in place. The second iteration, Full Boost would introduce a fourth variation that combined all aspects together. It also introduced a playable version called the Leos-type which used scaled down versions of those armors. It got a tie-in manga called Gundam EXA which explained the lore and premise of the Extreme VS series Maxiboost would bring in another playable Extreme Gundam which streamlined all of the packs of the Leos-type into one cohesive unit that was basically Strike Freedom with a bit of Burning Gundam in it. A later revision introduced new boss Extreme Gundams called Extreme Gundam R, piloted by dark data copy versions of the series main female lead, Sthesia. The last update to Maxiboost introduced a proper successor to the original Extreme Gundam, foregoing the use of armor packs and fighting more like an RPG boss. It also brought in yet another playable Extreme Gundam, this one being more magical-girl themed, piloted by Sthesia herself and having attacks based off of the Extreme Rs Extreme VS 2 introduced a brand new original final boss called Galvaria and followed the same concept as the original Extreme Gundam, but its armor packs were much bigger and less humanoid in shape. Late into the first revision, XBoost, it was accompanied by four Gundams of the brand new N-Extreme line that were more visually and functionally inspired by other Gundams in the franchise proper
