In case this helps anyone watching you do NOT have to dissamble the whole pedal base to get to the brake pedal innards. There are two screws either side of the pedal, undo these then lower the spring casing with a bit of pressure applied and you can pull out the top cover followed by the spring. Also, well worth getting a variable pitch spring (Google MVH Studios); this does away with the stock spring and lump of rubber replacing both with a better quality replacement that has progressive pressure.

The sensitivity issues you're describing at around 12:00 is caused by the Logitech firmware that the pedals are controlled by. Converting to USB bypasses this firmware allowing for linear calibration. Logitech has attempted to emulate a load cell by putting a radical curve in the braking line based on this rubber brick they insert. It's a big fail and unless you remove the firmware and use Windows calibration this will always be an issue. Regardless of the feel you'll never have repeated accuracy and therefore muscle memory will not work either. As well, I have the progressive spring and the proper progressive insert from 3DRap and it works incredibly well. The load-up is as real as it gets with a swing style pedal and muscle memory is awesome. Lap times are way more consistent and control is incredible in contrast to stock.
what exactly do you mean "converting to usb"?, does the wheel use something other than usb? is this an easy conversion or do i need to buy stuff externally?
The magnetic shifter paddles are truly a gamechanger, I love them since the day I got them. They were 3d printed by someone locally here, so I paid about 10 euros and they're even slightly cheaper now. As for the brake mod, I could never justify paying more than 5 euros for a tiny piece of rubber, so I'm playing around with springs and various squishy materials myself - drilling a few holes in the stock logitech rubber cube in g29 pedals is pretty much enough to get it to feel that tiny bit more progressive and lighter. Although, the best mod for the pedals that truly unlocks their potential is an adapter, either the leo bodnar one or one you can make on your own with arduino - it increases their resolution, removes the weird gamma for brake pedal that's programmed into the wheelbase and extends the range of the potentiometers a bit - generally it leaves a lot for you to play with to make them feel however you want.

if you want a really good mod for shifter meant to last this mod is the best @t it use the inner mechanical mechanism to get more force to move the shifter and its can be adjusted for more or less force. If you don't have a 3d Printer its can be substitute with any little object that can block the spring and the feel of this mod its really better than 3drap mod cause again its it only increase the force that is already in the shifter so you get a better mechanical feeling and unlike 3drap mod its not prone to break.
