Mischa is about a third of the way through his round-the-world trip stuck in Greenland due to weather. Follow him at Epic world tour. Scroll down to vlog/location to find a live location map. They're flying Rueben's R-66 with his son. Great videos from Mischa at Pilot Yellow.

They landed in the Philippines (episode 51/52) in a Hugh thunderstorm. They are going to do maintenance on it before they head north. Very interesting trip.

I wrote the above a month ago when they were in Greenland. The Philippines stop will be the 3rd maintenance stop. Trip of a life time.

I believe what sets this helicopter part along with all the safety features is the three blade system very nice helicopter I’ll buy one and send the bill to the government they will take care of all expenses.

I like the main rotor blade system. I wonder when we'll start seeing more quieter efficient blades like on the Airbus H160 and Blue Copter on helicopters like this.

I watched many of your videos you seems like a awesome guy and well knowledge.
I live in Windham Connecticut and being thinking about getting my privet pilot License but feel a little intimidated
Cause aviation is much more to learn plus not sure What’s the cost , I call a school and the price range was about 27,000
Depending on how fast I learn. Is the price ok?
Thanks for the awesome videos. By the way this helicopter is gorgeous I love it.
    Thanks Hector from CT

Why are these not more popular in the training community yet? They almost seem too easy to fly. Haha

logan S they are slowly getting there. I start school in August on a G2. I'm 6'9" and nearly gave up my dream of flying helicopters until I found the G2. I fit better in the G2 than I did in the R44 with a much lower rental price.

Logan, it's going to be a bit of a vicious circle for a while, we need repair facilities in the US before it'll get wider acceptance, but it needs wider acceptance to get facilities to spend the money to buy specialized tools and send their people to school to learn how to work on them. You don't want to buy a helicopter and have your "local" service center hundreds of miles away. It's going to gain popularity here, but it's going to take time.

For my flight school, there's just not enough space to store them. With the semi-rigid R22 rotor system, they can store them right next to eachother without worrying about a third rotor blade. If they had G2s, they would have problems with fitting them in, especially with the A Stars all in the hangar.

These cabris blow robinsons away in nearly every category. It is more expensive at around $450,000 base wit maybe some options vs, a little more than $300,000 for new r22. I can go for a long time listing all the things that make cabri such an ullra safe and far more superior in safety, design features, comfort, and performance. Most importantly, cabri wont masp -bump n rotor wont slice off the tail 1 g pus-hover. Cabri can safely perf

Hi Pilot Yellow. I am 16,5h pilot student and I heard that Cabri G2 did strike the tail boom by main rotor in autorotation practice. Wrong student imput.
