Impressive updated info on the new look of the RotorX helicopter kit. I am now going to order my own. Level of comfort has been raised up standards. Introduction of the governor is huge. Turbo all the way and shaft tail drive system. Awesome video !!!! Thank you Mark
@@foryst everybody always complained about the belt drive so I understand the upgrade. The belts were very forgiving but this lessens the concerns a lot of people had....ours was belts but I would take either.........
Thank you very much for sharing this video with me Chris. That's an awesome video. The facility looks like a very well organized, and productive machine😁 I will keep dreaming of the day I take flight! Thanks again!
The manufactures of helicopters take in many factors as they decide where the PIC sits. In the case of the RotorX/RotorWay product, the PIC is on the left side due to the lateral CG envelop. In addition, solo operations the pilot must sit in the left seat.
Mashallah, very good work. I subscribed to your channel. Can I ask what is the price of the piece responsible for rotating and swinging the Swash plate?
Do these auto better than a Robbie 22? If this was a certified ship and non-experimental would it have SFARs due to the lightweight rotorblades? 🤔 or is there a ton of inertia in those blades? Robbins always feel like a death descent compared to the air tractor Schweizers. Just curious if anyone can answer these questions for me.
Autorotation characteristics of low inertia rotor systems like in the Robinson, Schweizer, RotorX will be similar, and I am not sure one could say one autos "better" than the other. Pilot skill and familiarity of the helicopter will determine how to handle the low inertia rotor system characteristics and the limitations of each helicopter to provide safe outcome. SFAR 73 is assigned by regulation to the operation of the Robinson product but all pilots would be wise to actually receive the ground school training and the flight training with primary training and continuing training that is covered in SFAR.
So all that did to engine was change the crank, pistons , connecting rods and add a turbo There's got to be more then that . How about the top end. It matters big time.
Great video Mark (as always).

What's the deal with the shaft tail drive system? Is that a really good upgrade compared to before?

And that's how you fly to lunch! Great video!
Very nice job on putting this together Mark and as usual nice flying.
Nicely compiled video, well done.
Been watching this helicopter since I first saw in a Helicopter is Born on tv.
Very nice Piloting.
Great video, Mark! I would love to take lessons with you someday.
Nice video, sir. Encouraging in all aspects.
Great video! Once I'll order mine! 🙂
I just learned that Mark passed away after being the victim of an air to air collision at Oshkosh Air Venture in Wisconsin 2023. R.I.P. Mark.
RIP Mark...he was just killed at Oshkosh. Mid-air with Gyro.
So sad that Mark with all of his knowledge is no longer with us.
ماشاءالله عمل جيد جداgooooood❤❤
Looks awesome 👌 I will get one but confused why he flies left seat. I fly r22s 44s and 300cbis from the right seat.

@@AirMark rotor turns opposite from Robinson.
I believe Rotorway has always been left seat pilot...Don't recall about the scorpion.....
@@dwightdodd3734 i have a scorpon 133 and the pic sits in left seat. been a while since it has been in the air.
@JT-uf4pg our Exec was pilot left side as well.....

What's the TOTAL in shipping a complete Unit? (I ask because I'm local and could come pick it up!)
Mark I should be getting my kit first of August. Is there. Any one to reach out to in the Ogden UT area thank Zan
Looks like a nice flying ship, i'm looking at possibly buying a 162 F What do you think about the older design ?
Contact me through the website AirMarkHelo and I can send you some info.
Love it!!

Too bad these Americans that built these couldn't even afford to buy or put one together themselves
Look at they way he was laying up the glass. Glad I didn’t order.
No safety equipment. No eye protection. Shop looks like hell. What a mess. Clean the shop before you post. I was looking to buy a kit.
Why doesn’t RotorX carry turbine engines?.
