Rotorway were genuine pioneers in the homebuilt helicopter industry, an industry that they created! Their continued research, development and support is highly encouraging to builders and owners alike.
Thank you so much for sharing. I just purchased a used Exec-90. When I called Rotorway to ask a few questions, I was greeted like a new member of their family! These folks are so friendly, and polite. Rotorway is so precise and a VERY smooth to operate ship. Safety is #1, and the factory offers flight training at a very reduced price to insure you are completely competent. If you train on a Robinson, The Rotorway is a breeze to fly!
I think I still have the video in a box somewhere. I watched it so many times I knew which scene was going to be next. Came close to buying one, but started a family and priorities changed. It was a great video and fun to see it again. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent video quality! Much better than ours. As Ben stated, I guess we wore our VHS copy out. We watched it a bunch of times as kids, and I know the whole dialogue by heart.
Can you really install a cargo hook to long line light cargo on a Rotorway like they did to test the fuel tank?? If so, where can I find one? Or could I build it myself since its an experimental? Thats awesome!
This video is awesome! I checked a while back and nobody had uploaded this. I was thinking about uploading my copy, but I found your upload here. It is much better quality than mine. I guess my brother and I wore our tape out by watching it too many times, haha.
Serge Smith i have a price sheet in 1981 and the kit was $21,000 which is today’s equivalent of 60-70k. compare to certified craft 500k to millions rw is still the most affordable and after 50 years its the most mature and time proven helicopter kit. i have just finished my a600 turbo. airframe and rotorhead are the same design by bj. incremental improvements for safety and power has made it the best ship to build to date.

Glad to see they still in business ! I was wondering if they had dissolved.
This is crazy. When we were kids in then 1980s, this was one of the only VCR tapes we owned. We watched this a billion times.
I know! I thought this was the best tape too! When I was in my 30's I actually visited the plant where they made them. It was cool. :)

Did you guys ever buy one?? I actually recently started taking lessons in an Enstrom... it's pretty cool. :)
how much storage does the exec have
'Flying a helicopter is not as easy as it looks...'
About $99,500 for the A600 talon Base model with no avionics and you have to build it your self!! Well I guess that's affordable for a rich guy!!!

Если бы не ременной привод хвостового винта, был бы хороший вертолет..)
Sure beats the Mini 500 helicopter
I have both. The Mini 500 is also a breeze to fly.
Oh dear! I am jealous yet happy with the vision Lloyd ))
It looks beautifully engineered, no short cuts here.
