My older brother, a retired Army Helicopter pilot. Bought his first helicopter years ago which was one of the old MASH helicopters. His second one was an old Huey. He now owns several helicopters and planes. Guess when flying gets in your blood you can’t stop.
I didn't see the "Mosquito" helicopters listed. They are ready built and have models in both the ultralight and standard categories with my favorite being the Mosquito XET turbine model.
An XEL (mis-labeled as "XCL" in the index) is included in the video starting @6:48; that it the Mosquito mechanical design with composite fuselage from Composite-FX.
Turbine engine helicopter N3722T, a Helicycle, now boasting 1340 Hobbs hours TTAF was the first kit customer completed unit, and the first helicycle to receive an FAA Certificate of Airworthiness.
The dragonfly hydrogen peroxide is not a diluted version of household peroxide. Just the opposite. Household peroxide is diluted with water. This would use commercial grade, rocket fuel equivalent hydrogen peroxide. If it is still being sold for $4 per gallon, that is less than what Avgas is being sold at for the use of general aviation piston engines.
The Volocopter models are not helicopters. They are Powered-Lift Aircraft. It’s a different definition of aircraft category. And, there are several companies trying to develop this market.
In Europe you need for everything a pilot licence, even for paragliders, and drones. In Hungary you need this even for toy drones, if they have a camera on board.... That's insane, but sadly true.🤨🙄😧😖😞
What makes you think you can fly anything without a license? Training and testing before licensing is necessary for your survival or did you think you can learn this from watching RUclips videos?
@@gerhardgotzmann8880 i have laerned paragliding, i was flying a few times with UL , and small planes. Learning to fly requires a licence, that'right. But in Europe, especially in Midlle Europe is it unnecesessererely diffocult, burocratic, and hellish expensive. Even for small drones, and toys a licence, high insurance fees, and if you fly in habitated areas you need a temporary flight area from the authorities 30 days before the flight... That's insane, you can't predict the flight weather not even for 3-4 days properly, and sure not for 30 days.... An another example is the water sport: in the lake Balaton you can't driving with the Kayak, only 500 meters (about 0.3 miles) from the beatch iaway, nside the lake.... That's what i mean, They would likely prohibit everything, or so much, as possible.
@@gerhardgotzmann8880so what? Now you’re going to ask children to pass a license to flip a toy drone? And why not ask a license for flying a kite! It’s all about money and people who comply make the world the mess it it today.
@@lianlowenherz7372 I never said you need a license for anything that your butt is not riding in. Agree that the bureaucracy in Europe is out of control. So is some young people’s vision of the world that everything is easy.
For most of the aircraft (with the coaxials and the R22 as the notable exceptions) there is no description of the rotor system.. which is the only technically interesting part.

Ya know what a scare mining material for batteries leaves? Hydrogen in my opinion would of been the way to go. The byproduct of burning hydrogen...wait for it...water. It would be safe to assume that the powers that be have the power and there would not be as much $$$ for them made off hydrogen.
Where did you get your information, air scooter brought and canned years ago just like the Noland brothers patten. Why have no clue, suspect tail roller makers doesn't want the public to have something really easy to fly. Just a thought!
The more the narrator speaks, the greater the magnitude of his ignorance becomes clear! A nothing video, the channel owner put nothing into it, cares nothing for it or the viewers whose time he wastes with this garbage...
The smaller Cicare helicopters use, used ?, an EJ25 Motor 🥰 This motor is so easy to repair and has a pretty easy to predict maintanance. Have built a few street racer subi's and I love this motor. 🧃

Thank you for your time putting together this pod cast for us for it is much appreciated 👍 God bless you all.
That coaxial rotor machine is perfect 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
The one with the parachute 🪂 is the best choice.
At least 3 of those helicopters brands have one major thing in common, and that would be B.J. Schramm.
Yay I’m early for this super cool video
Esses helicópteros são incríveis 👍👍👍😎😎😮😮😅😅
Got to get this done
Great to fly over the traffic jams on the way up to Muskoka !
It is a shame that you did not included any Cicaré helicopters.
Fantástic 👍

The Curti Zefhir has a MTOW of just under 1600 pounds. The video lists its weight incorrectly at 160 pounds.
I'd love one. Maybe one day. Lol
Luego de observar tantos adelantos , la que siempre perdura es la lanita en el parabrisas ...

Would have liked a service ceiling and approximate price otherwise nice production!
