Waw Guinée is a nice country. Their mandinka has slightly different dialects, with Gambian or Senegalese one just like in Mali too. But if you listen well, you will pick up quickly. Just like the Gambian and Senegalese mandinka language has some influence by some neighboring language overtime their also do. Yeah, susu is mostly spoken in Conakry. Great content
They speak Malinke not mandinka, Mali speaks Bambara. These are all Nko languages, so you're right, a Gambian can understand and communicate with them .
@lemonade_ib Yes, many people refer to them as malinke, but if you ask them the language they speak, they will tell you they speak mandinkakan, not malilkekan.Malinke mean hippo people in mandinka. I don't know whether you understand mandinka very well, eg... Bambino from Guinée sang for Ex-president Jammeh. Who doesn't know what he was saying." Babili mansa eninbara."Mandinka, bambara,Jahanke, Jula, and malinke all have common or similar origins from manding, which composed of three villages sibi,Karina and kita present day found in Mali and Guinée. From their they expanded during the mali Empire. Because of the similarities of these languages, language experts group these people as coming from one ancestors referring to them as manding speaking people. In mali the people who speak similar dialect to mandinka language are called the khassonke or maninka, living in the Kayes region west of mali close to the senegal border. They are mostly mix with the fulani in the 18Century. Similarly the fulas also have different dialect and names depending on the country they are in. In Gambia and Mali they are called fula, Guinée fulbe or peul, in niger wadabe,Nigeria, fulani, and in sudan Falata. All of them speak a little bit of different dialects, especially the one in niger,Nigeria, and sudan.
@user-ut1mu3hn5h because i studied history and follow linguistic tracts and expert study plus oral traditions about the connections. Also i can see the similarities in the language as well.
@user-ut1mu3hn5h because i studied african history and read the works of language experts, histrionians, and ligeanology. I also learned from local historians as well about their ancestry and origin, so I hope that answer you questions.
I love this new generation of African youths.! Great to see us explore each others countries and experience lifestyles in a different yet similar settings 🫶🏾 Beautiful video and amazing editing 👏🏾💕
I lived in Guinea for 2years from Ghana and they treated me like the president, all my friends were in the military. They helped me a lot before I left Guinea for Canada, may Allah bless my beloved Guinea, and all my ladies I left behind.
Guinea’s potential is like that of the DRC. But the country is not well known. You should visit Labe, the heart of Fula country to learn more about Fouta.
Guinea is beautiful man fr fr, you should try visit Mali Yemberengg bro that place is lit 🔥 I’ve been there when I was younger, the nature is beautiful bruh, the mountains, the animals in the bush, the foods, the trees and the people bruh
Brother thanks for the video I learned a lot about my ancestral country.Born and raised in The Gambia never visited Guinea but IN SHA ALLAH it’s on my bucket list.
I recently visited Rwanda, DRC and Uganda and my tour guide told me a drone would be confiscated if I brought it. I have wondered how RUclips people get around this. Guinea is listed as "reconsider travel" by my U.S. government, but then so was Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Rwanda is considered safe. So safe that my friend in Kigali said counting large sums of money on the street is no risk. Something I would never do in my own country. Thank you for sharing your visit to Guinea. It looks beautiful and I will consider visiting on my next trip to Africa.
Misconceptions about the fulas broken . I really love the insightfulness of your coverage. I think Guinea has more than what is offered. Look at those beautiful waterfalls and amazing landscapes. Let's rock on Conakry 🤘 love from GMB
This video is a great invitation to travel to Guinnea and learn more.. It is unfortunate that there is so much repression of communication and photographing is restricted, but this does not diminish the charm and beauty of the country.
Thanks brother for showcasing the beauty of Guinea. As a Sierra Leonean by birth i am really proud to come from Guinea. my home of origin is from Telimele, Futa Jallon.
