    Another great video 👍 One question: did you drink the water from the wells or did you have to purify first?

    • @tomasdiera
      @tomasdiera  2 месяца назад

      The water from pumps is generally good. But inland there are mainly springs, which can be ok, but it's a good practice to purify them. I actually got quite sick, from drinking it directly... Also be careful with bathing in some of the water bodies, it can contain disease from Guinean worm 🪱.... I had some hard time with that too 😅

      The map is "West Africa by Reise know how", the advantage is that is practically indestructible

    I enjoyed your video. I've been to Africa 3 times. You are very brave to go alone on a bicycle! We share 98% of our DNA with chimpanzees but they can be aggressive, so you were wise to keep your distance.

    Very cool adventure! Hope seeing more of your vids! Whats the average km you manage to do per day on these dirtroads?

    • @tomasdiera
      @tomasdiera  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks, these bumpy roads were slow sometimes less than 50km a day. But much more memorable than tar roads 😂

    The presidents there refuse to build solid roads everywhere, they dont think many western want visit Africa. Building motorways 🛣 is very important for Africa!

    Africa dont develop because dont have solid large strong roads ,bridges and motorways is shame after 60 years they still begging food instead building motorways everywhere
