How I'm seriously adoring every last image. Thank you for explaining what I'm looking at along with the brief history of them as well I appreciate that. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with others such as myself, and you and your family remain blessed
Absolutely brilliant! I think that this branch of art is somewhat continued in European comic books, especially those for more intellectually and artistically mature audience. I always stop to take a longer look at a good illustration. Side note #1 crêpe feels great in a hand, but if I recall correctly books published on it are very fragile Side note #2 saps? Tolkien? Artistic illustrations? We have lots of in common! Side note #2.5 ..I have just bought a Gonzales 415 from D3, mostly because of your review of it
I was wondering if you knew any folk tale artists of the 1800s that are not english. I need it for my IB comparative study and can’t seem to find any. If you know one it would be a great help, thank you!
Many of them were not English, they just worked in England because that's where the books were published. Would that count or are you looking for people who never illustrated in England?
