Carter Finley was completed in 67 and built in Cary about 5 miles or so away from campus. The old Riddick stadium was turned into parking. PNC arena was built with state and private funding this multiple uses with the Hurricanes. CF has been updated several times and is an excellent venue. I was at State from 77-82. That area around the stadium has grown significantly since it's inception.
The Hartford whalers, change your name to the hurricanes when they moved to Raleigh. They also changed the colors to run black to match their arena that the Wolfpack was already in.

Depends on what you mean by "campus." The vet school is less than a mile from Carter-Finley. It's three miles from the doorstep of Carter-Finley to the first university building on Hillsborough St.
The arena is owned by an independent body called the Centennial Authority. It has ten members appointed by the state, four by Wake County, four by Raleigh, two by the mayors of each town in Wake County, and one by NC State.

NC States basketball has a great display at Reynolds Coliseum actually on Campus. There is a little bit in PNC but it’s a whole museum at Reynolds

nah man they play every game there, The women play at Kay Yow arena and it is right on campus
It's the permanent home of the men's team (only one game a year is played at Reynolds Coliseum, the on-campus arena)
