Yeah they have been D1 FBS for decades, I was trying to refer to them joining the Sun Belt not them moving up to FBS football. Why I should be reading more off of a script
Yeah I meant to say Sunbelt (which they joined in 2022) not sure how I kept saying FBS in the video. I'm just stupid sometimes lol. Thanks for the correction
Coastal Carolina stadium is like a surf turf beach party of or Beach vibe stadium I'm from Myrtle Beach south Carolina born and raised my dad graduated from coastal Carolina but this video dope i appreciate it
@@_WastedPotential yes sir games during the day like around 12:00 or 2:00 at coastal is like a beach vibe but night games are like beach party but we planning on moving back home before the season start im try to make it one day maybe homecoming
Yea Texas state used to have a track that wrapped around the whole field so that’s why the field is so far from the stands. But we did add standing room at the bobcat complex that should be done by the season!
1Yes they should never be considered the laughingstock of the FBS. I was not clear at all about that in the video. That being said ten years ago the conference did not get the respect it deserved. I appreciate the info on Texas states stadium as well!
When my wife and I went to see this stadium that one side was completely blocked off due to the construction. Go look at the video we did on it, the whole upper deck is gone. I will say the food stands on the rest of the stadium looked good.
I go to Georgia Southern! Paulson Stadium seating isn’t bad at all. The bottom deck away on the opposite side from the press boxes is mainly student seating and every game we allow somewhere in the realm of 10,000 student if I’m not mistaken and with that being said we broke our attendance record this past season and I’m honestly waiting for the school to expand the stadium as our continues to grow. The second deck covers shields the space for some luxury seating which is the beer garden. I’ve sat there before and it’s good cool seating out of the sun! I’m hoping the next renovations are to the end zone at Bishop. Maybe they could do something similar to what southern miss has but I’m sure they have some ideas already in the pipeline seeing as every one of our other programs is getting some sort of expansion in some shape or form.
Just F.Y.I. the Sun Belt is among the best G5 conference s, good video but you need to do a little homework first. Georgia St. can't have a on campus stadium and they saved millions and millions "reusing" an old stadium and you also didn't lose a million dollar stadium and tax payers money.
Fun video. 2 critiques: maybe rank the stadiums and go off of that. Or just keep the capacity order but include your overall ranking in a corner. Also app state is the Appalachian mountains, not the rockies.
I must've said Rockies, I meant smokies. Even though it's not even technically in the smokies anyways haha. I appreciate the feedback. I plan on doing a ranking series when I'm done with these lists.
Texas State left the south end zone like that with future plans to bowl it in (and connect to the end zone complex) in mind. Also, that end zone complex isn't new. Current construction of a new team enhancement center & weight room, with patio seating on top, will connect the whole of the bowl shape. New name: Jim Wacker Field at UFCU Stadium.
The Ragin' Cajuns are getting a renovation either this season or next. I went there last year for game. It's a fairly decent stadium and seems to fill out for most games (great fans and tailgating BTW). Only gripe is that the stadium is definitely dated and needs to be updated - which, again, I believe it's getting.
Seems like during mid construction of half these stadiums they got the call that they didn’t have the budget to build the whole stadium and they just settled for half a stadium. I’ve always been fascinated by stadium designs. I’ve lived right by Lavell Edwards stadium in Provo Utah and Neyland stadium in Knoxville TN, they were beautiful to see. Best stadium I’ve been in person would probably be Oregon’s.
I was just in Provo last year, beautiful place. I didn't get to catch game there but seeing that mountain backdrop makes me want to go back and see one. I at least got to walk outside of Lavell Edwards and Rice-Eccles when I was in Utah. Every time I go to a new place, I need to see there sporting venues. It annoys my girlfriend sometimes haha. When I was little my parents would took take me to a minor league baseball game a couple times a year and I remember thinking how many little teams there are out there that nobody has even heard of, so many of them having high quality ballparks that never even get mentioned. Ever since that time stadiums/arenas/ballparks have always peaked my interested. I have spent way to much time looking up obscure Stadiums lol
@@_WastedPotential I literally lived right across the street in the apartment complex that’s part of the parking lot of Lavell Edwards stadium. It would get surprisingly loud but yea definitely everything surrounding the stadium makes it even more beautiful. I played a HS scrimmage in Neyland stadium and it was like being in the Roman Colosseum. That’s awesome about your parents. My dad and uncle played at BYU and always took us to games when we could go. I’m excited for the new EA football game to check out all the stadiums and environments.
That would be really cool place to call home, always nice when there is that family connection too. I actually went to high school with two of Chris Hoke's sons who both played/play for BYU and I was good friends with one of them. Not sure how well-known Chris is at BYU, but I know he played there and went on to play for the Steelers which is how I knew him. I also can't wait for this new NCAA football game; I almost wish it was like the good old days where you would wait hours outside of a GameStop just to get a copy.
@@_WastedPotential right lol. Me and my 4 brothers would make our mom take us near midnight and she’d argue saying why would a video game store be open that late lol. Good times. I’m a gator fan and I was happy to get Tebow on the cover. My favorite team to play with was West Virginia with Pat White, Steve Slaten, and Noel Divine. Cheat code playing with those guys.
