This version is about the guitar, catchy beat, and his voice. Hush yourselves if you don't dig it.
Good but a bit tame. To do a Talking Heads cover requires a bit of the spirit of the David Byrne lunacy to pull it off.

Great cover but the the ''yaaaii yaiii yaiii yaii yai'' part is the worst part of this cover, just generic falsetto instead of just going crazy with it.

As a cover, no. As a unique track, probably. I liked it but this is a hard track to cover and find a balance of original and new.

The stopping beat of the production removes the magic of the song. the beat is already trippy enough, no need to emphasise it, let the acoustic guitar sound be long. The bass guitar is off key. lead singers' breathing is off, the breath before belt and the "better" breaks the song tbh.

Really? Musically it was nice but lyrically it was horrible. The French pronunciation was off and he didn't even try to hit the high notes. Why would you praise this version?

It matters because it was a horrible version. You like it therefore it was a good version for you, obviously your standards are a lot lower than mine.
mm, because music isn't subjective or anything.. I'm commenting on how you said musically it was good but you didn't like it because of pronunciation, that doesn't seem silly to you?
