All of these impacts I am seeing, I was under the impression that the tube would have massive "recoil damage" before the housing ever came close to dying of impacts (minus the articulation points on binos), but there you say "will probably save your tube...". Am I discounting how tough the image intensifier tube is?
@@dumpbagfullofshells Thats odd cause I cant seem to get mine to work. Do i need to have a battery in it at all times? How do i know if its running power to the system?
@@cristianj.9623 I dont have the onboard battery in mine. It doesnt work if you line up the marks like youre supposed to when using the cable on 31s, but if you connect it with the 90 pointing straight up when looking into the tubes itll work.
I need a set for my rock climbing partner everywhere seems to be either too expensive or sold out, I have 500$ would anyone happen to have a pair for sale? (Helment and Mount not needed but would still buy)
A decent gen 3 night vision goggle will set you back atleast 1200 for a military surplussed one but to buy a brand new gen 3 binocular night vision goggle will set you back atleast 5000$ if your budget is only 500$ I recommend you buy a digital night vision goggle like the night fox swift, it excellent for hunting, surveillance, night observation, and general use but just don’t expect to go full SEAL team 6 with it
I don’t scream when watching horror movies, but when he hit the housing I actually screeched.
love my RNVGs. highly recommend the LPBP-GO with it.
“Or born in Arkansas” 😂😂😂
I ordered my RNVG’s in January, can’t wait till they come! 😃👍🇺🇸
Damn, Sam, breathing heavy after that shovel swing.
Wear a lapel Mike, and see what happens.
You should see him run a shooting class. Lapel mic would sound like a porn climax.

I thought the exact same thing. Following for answer.
I spit my drink out at the first shovel scene
Shovel tested and approved
Is there a single tube version of the ruggedized housing with and battery pack connection?
I wish there were more ITAR exemptions for Canada. Would really like to order these 😔

*holy crap*
I'm just imagining having enough money and gear to have the ability to literally hammer and slap gear around until it breaks.
love the mystery men reference. next test a waffle iron for the waffler
2:59 you barely tapped it compared to the last one
People from Arkansas show up with an Arkansas flag protesting at your door…
Now what you need to do is replace the bodies on both my pvs14s.
Straight up savage!! 😂
Wow
Maxime Heights
Id love to see you smack a completed unit, for science lol.
For a free set I'll test them out with something bigger than a shovel. AT4 maybe?
What do i need to connect a PVS-31 battery pack into the lemo port
You'll need the AB battery pack.
Nothing. I run my RNVGs with a pvs31 battery pack and bnvd/coti splitter cable

🤣🤣
Sir go home and climb on rocks
Lmaoooo born in Arkansas 💀💀💀
I don’t need a housing that durable lol. I’d rather have something lightweight. Even if it smashes into pieces if I hold it too hard in my hand.
Aluminum is one of the lightest metals in the world, and is extremely strong. I would take the aluminum housing any day.
In case your normal....or Born in Arkansas....lol
