Is the Sigma 150-600mm Worth it in 2024?

A nice review, thanks. I shoot wildlife with the Contemporary 150-600mm, and it's my favourite lens (for wildlife, I also use a Canon 70-300 and a Tamron 100-400 when hand-holding is preferable and reach is less critical). I'm really curious whether this was the Contemporary or Sports model, as they differ in glass and autofocus. Also, I find it difficult to use without a tripod. Were you hand-holding it?
