Nice, but did I miss something. If I have a clip where I need to get from a to b in a quick time, ie a speed ramp it seemed to me that these were all clips that were short and then cut even shorter. Consider that i fly drones through property, i start in the street and fly up to the door, I want to ramp a few frames (½ sec) into the clip, fast to just before the door and then slow back down. I cannot see how I would do that using the ‘pro’ method. I did try using the curve but couldn’t see how it was done. What did I miss?
It’s a little too hard to explain in a comment, but to go fast and then end with “regular speed, you need to ramp the start up until your desired frame, and then set a key frame at the end of the clip for the last frame, pretty much if frame 60 played frame 22 for example, then frame 100 would need to be 22+40 to play at regular speed, just making the curve play 1 frame at a time. I would reccomend sticking with the retime curve until Blackmagic builds a better retime control
Great vids man. You’re on your way up. Where in Canada are you? Just starting my channel and business myself here in Manitoba.
Thank you! I am in southern Alberta. Best of luck to you!!
Great tut. And that sneeze is hands down the best thing to ever happen to the internet!
Haha thank you! Happy someone thought it was funny lol
Я из России и мне очень понравились твои уроки. Спасибо за уроки.
Thank you!
I don’t usually comment but man, this tutorial is so well explained and so easy to follow. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks!! Happy you could follow along!
Nice video
That looks great. Turn the effect into a preset and share it here. You've got a sub and a like from me. 👏
Thanks! I’ll look into that!
Bro I subscribed you, I want to say I love you for that tutorials you are really good at making it ❤️ you can become bigger and bigger, wish you all the best 🥰 pls keep going

Awesome!!
I love you again!! Thank you for this
Anytime!
no other words can describe this other than beautifull or perfection
Haha thanks!
I really like your videos Van Beek. It makes me frustrated, that RUclips is so extremely slow at getting more viewers to top quality content like yours. There are far less interesting tutorials than yours which have 50,000 views for the simple reason, that these youtubers have pushed out more content and been at it for longer than you. Still, I hope you keep at it, because your videos are really helpful to someone like me, who spend so much time on my scripts, I simply do not have the time to figure out all these technical aspects of Resolve myself. You are providing me with a shortcut to this knowledge, and that is very valuable. For that I am grateful. Thank you.
I am really happy I can help you out! The views and such will hopefully come in the future! But for now I’m happy to help where I can!
Yo Van ! keep it up with the great work and soon your channel will be over 100K in a Breeze 🤩
I appreciate it man!
Bro I love you. I saved this to my playlist “DaVinci Resolve” for future edits
Let’s go!
Hey, amazing tutorial! Could you make a video on how to create this 0:02 transition? I tried to do the same thing, but it’s not as smooth as yours. Thanks!
Thanks! I’m planning on it!
You clearly know DR. Do you do anything with 360 equirectangular video? I've been looking for a good tracking-in-360 tutorial and just can find anything. It seems that the trackers aren't 360-aware, at least that I can find.
I don’t off the top of my head. I have used some good plugins from Reactor that deal with 360 footage. Are you looking to track the camera framing to a subject?
@@vanbeekfilms. I would assume that camera framing would be easy to do once the tracking is there, but no, that's not what I'm wanting. I've found that it is a bit jarring to the viewer to have the 360 scene move around on them without them changing where they are looking. I'm actually wanting to have a semi transparent overlay that I put on the entire 360 frame with unobtrusive arrows that point in the direction of the subject. So that, if I'm looking off to the right, but the interesting thing is down and to the left, I'll see arrows gently suggesting to me that I turn my head down and to the left. Eventually this would go into a plugin type setup where I could go through a video, set keyframes for where/when I want the arrows to appear (to match speech discussing the subject or whatnot) and have it all render out easy-peasy.
incredible, keep going mane, this is so dope
Thanks Wampus!!
What about do all these things on a fusion composition on an adjustment layer than you can copy and paste it on another project later? Is that possible?
Yes sir! Other than the BG replacement, that is specific to the tracking on that clip. I probably should have mentioned in the video, since creating this effect, I’ve recreated using adjustment clips that sit over the two different shots, one with the subject, one without, and then all the same settings and it would be transferable!
Great tutorial Mr. Beek. I am hoping to see a version 2, where you show how to get the snot to move in circles around your head. 😀
😂😂👏
you deserve a million subs!
Thank you!
amazing tutorial , please keep doing more tutorials like this
Thanks! Will do!
82 / 5.000 I must have done something good in life for this type of tutorials to be recommended to me, pure 🔥 bro. thx
Haha, love it, thanks man!
Awesome tutorial! Just a suggestion, though, Fusion tutorials are way easier to follow when you rename your Nodes for the rest of us.
Thanks- noted!
Improvement looks clear from this to now
Haha thanks!
Pls upload more tutorials like this! youre doing great content thank you! How did you learn all this and how long did it take?
Thank you! 100% will! I been working inside of fusion for about 2 years now and have self taught myself/watched weeks and weeks worth of content on it haha
@@vanbeekfilms. 👍👏
Nice video! Keep up the good work
Thank you!
Blown my mind! I am so glad that you showed us the way how to do such a good effect even without the after effects.
Happy you enjoyed it!
🔥🔥🔥
Then what can I do?
Bro but I have not available studio version😢
Unfortunately it wouldn’t be possible to create the exact same effect. To get a similar effect you would have to use a planar tracker to track your forehead, manually mask your head, and manually key frame the text moving in a circular pattern, nearly impossible. Sorry
Bro please don't stop. Your tutorial is very high quality
I appreciate it!
I would love to watch you edit I like the way you place the nodes and how you come up with the structures. Very high level of detail I subscribed from the floating 3D text video.
All self taught and trail and error! Let me know if you have anything in specific you want to see! Thank you!
Tutorial Transition just with fast noise
Sort of like a warp transition?
@vanbeekfilms. Yeah✌
Bro, so glad you’re doing these videos. It’s so hard to find videos that you can understand for da Vinci with real estate transitions. Please do the House grow effect next 🙏🏽🤪
It’s in the schedule! Thank you!
Nice.. sir make a video on mercury bubble effect..
I’ll take a look at it! Thanks!
thank you brother 😍🥳 can you send project file or create a plugin
Thanks! I don’t quite know how to create the plugins yet sorry!
@vanbeekfilms. No problem, thank you ❤
Love this ❤❤
Thanks!
Another banger 💪🔥
Thanks dude!!
He’s back with fire.
Thank you!
Nice one! I didn't think of trying the 3d tracker for the latest carousel tool I put out!
Thanks! Just checked out your carousel, impressive work!
@@vanbeekfilms. Thanks! I shared the fusion comp for free if you want to play around with it.
u r amazing
Thanks!
Got it, thank you so much for this video again and the tips at the end.
No worries! Happy you liked it!
Thank you for this video, While using the fusion method you dont change the interpolation? I only ask as when I speed ramp this way my image is ghosting.
I do! It’s closer to the end of the video. Setting up optical flow inside of fusion will fix your problem, just watch that section and it’ll show you how to do it!
Thanks, let me rewatch. I did walk away from my computer towards the end.
Awesome thumbnail.Love it!!!
Thanks!
Bro ur tutorials are really easy to follow. Thank you for this 🙏
Thank you!
Can you save those ramps as presets?
Not with this method, no unfortunately
Great tutorial , keep em coming New sub here bro
Thank you!
🔥👍
great video
Thanks!
