Hoping to get a 2 series as my second car. Not too big of a car but got a bit of punch. It's hard being a petrol head and only being a new driver, insurance is crazy 😂
I feel that 😂 First car has just died on me so I’m using this as an excuse to upgrade to my first sports car, and I see this as one. I’d have to go Petrol though. But yeah, the insurance is absurd.
Hi. My BMW 225d from 2016 have 360000 km under the hood with ZERO problems.! Double oil change from birth . Zf transmission oil change every 120000 km. BMW forever 💚
What are the engines like on this ? Reliable ? I'm asking the question coming from a 120d e82 2010 owner with an n47 engine (timing chain) usually oil filter and service the car every 7-8k miles
@@ItsFaTaXx Apparently from 02/2015 and below models had a factory defect on the timing chains. There were thousands of complaints and recalls due to the poor quality of the timing chains.
@@michelb2754 yeah. I had to go through the back seats. I bought a thin metal rod from b&q. Took the bolts out of the sides of the back seats to give the seats some play. Used a grow bar to wedge apart the little gap in the back seat. Then used a torch held in my mouth and used the rod to prize the seat release catch open by pushing it forward to release the seat. Then dropped the seats and climb in the boot. Then go to lock on the back and behind the cloth cover, the lock, there's a little switched. Push it right with a screw driver to release the lock and boot opens. Then I replace the lock with a new from ebay.
@@michelb2754 the hard part was getting the seats to unlock. I can not believe this is a design in the build. Really is piss poor planning and decison making for a car.
I tend to disagree. For me the only point of getting a Coupe is that the car looks aesthetic, luxurious and elegant. The 6 series does the job. Even the 4 series is good. But this one doesn´t. It may be fun to drive, but other little cars are also fun to drive. The worst thing is that these little coupes are not even significantly cheaper than a 4 series.
Fair comment and points. I think what I like about this 2 series coupe, it reminds me of my old e46 M3, which is about the same size. But my 640d does look the part and is a real coupe as you said 😉

Thank you Nigel! Appreciate it 😊
The curves and the compact sports coupe size, which are unfortunately losing their form in most modern cars today.
Tell me about. Most new cars are like a shoe box on wheels 🛞 😂

Can someone with experience tell me which are the reliable engines( Diesel or Benzin)?
Yes, the guy doing the confusing review should have done.
Yes Bobby do some shorts on the 640, maintenance costs service costs insurance etc
Haha will do bro! 👍🏼

Hi, great video! I was wondering if you knew anything about the time chain issues with the N20. Does it affect these models??

Can someone tell me how to get in to the boot, the catch has broke and no access from seats and no key hole. Worst car iv ever had
Did you figure it out?

It has only rear parking sensors
single zone climate control
And no cruise control 😢
Yeah that’s shocking that it’s an option it should be a bog standard thing on a modern luxury car!
It’s got a limiter 😂
Thanks for the review
