I've actually been saying something similar for years, something I even posted as a comment on Graham Hancock's website. It strikes me as impossible that we could go 200,000 years and then suddenly (I'm a creationist) create cities. If for some reason time on Earth has gone for longer than the Bible says then the only explanation for a lack of cities is a reversion of farmed crops into a feral state that will go totally unnoticed until we randomly find evidence of it in some plant as simple as a blade of grass. The buildings, made largely of perishable materials, are not the point. The point is that we've always had cities as the equivalent of the human hive.
@@melchiel4413 Suddenly create cities? We didn't. We were nomadic until we learnt how to grow crops and that knowledge spread around the world through trade and conquest. That would indicate that a series of crops that can feed massive numbers of massive herds of megafauna came into being (relatively) at once and increased global food supplies outside of forests and rainforests for creatures on the plains and in the bush of places like East Africa where we supposedly evolved. The megafauna, after supposedly co-existing with mankind for 200,000 years, then suddenly died off almost as if their food had disappeared. It is also notable that the Nilotic peoples and other peoples that live alongside tameable fauna in grassland and bush areas own massive herds of livestock which supplement their hunting activities.
