I bought a usb adapter and it’s awesome! I tried also buying a powered USB but somehow instead wound up buying a USB-C to HDMI NOT-powered hub. I don’t know how that happened.
May I ask if an external hard drive has been connected to the hub, and a smartphone would be connected to the usb connector to the right, would the smartphone read the extetnal hard drive Sir?
If you have an audio interface and condenser mic connected with phantom power engaged, how long will the battery pack supply power to the usb hub before the battery pack needs to be recharged?
I have a USB hub but doesnt have a DC jack only USB cord with a bunch of USB jacks, can I plug the USB cord to power bank and pug my iPad and midi keyboard to USB jacks?

Yes, the hub only charges the devices connected. You need to connect your iPad or iPhone to power as well. This is why the lightning to USB 3 is so good for iOS. ruclips.net/video/qt6ZczdUdV4/видео.html

No! Which I find quite puzzling. I know it would be a niche product, but I know many musicians who would love a battery powered USB hub!!

Mine is a 10,000mAh battery and it lasts ages. I’ve used my setup for 2-3 hours and it still has 70% charge.

Sounds like it may be a non-powered hub? If it doesn’t have an AC power plug it won’t generally work.

Hi Pete! Do you recommend a 10 000mAh or 20 000mAh power bank? (My setup is: Ipad or Iphone, MIDI keyboard, NanoKontrol2 and the EVO 4 by Audient)
10,000 does the job and is what I generally use. But if you can get a larger one it will give you more tome to create.

Not sure sorry? It’s pretty generic though so should work fine.
