What an amazing adventure...your enthusiasm and positivity are inspirational. Az please stop cooking with a plastic SPORK "tongs man" too funny mate. Next stop "Paradise" again!!! Greetings from Canada
Loving the video lads, well done! just a thought, leave a couple of coconuts for the next thirsty visitor / to make the next tree to keep you alive next time - just a suggestion, great fun to watch, cheers for sharing it, Dive safe!
You guys need bicycle pedals in those kayaks so your legs don’t get numb and hurt. Some kind of thrust while pedaling. Just a thought. Good stuff. Watching from Kentucky, thinking all you guys are some really lucky guys.
I relies this series is past content, but I hope drinking all that coconut juice didn't cause any problems ,as it is a diuretic and will cause dehydration when used to excess. anyway please consider using a cheap kettle on the coals full of salt water with a conical bung in spout with copper or heat rated, food grade plastic pipe leading to a bucket of cold sea water, than to your fresh water can. as long as you change last little bit of salt water from kettle and refill, it will make large amounts of fresh distilled water you just have to add a tiny bit of salt water to your now distilled water as pure distilled water is bad for you long term. I use a stainless kettle I got from rtm on special and it all fits in side a 10 liter white plastic bucket..... hose bung and kettle, I put bags of rice inside of kettle so as not to waste space and packs of spaghetti around kettle in bucket to use that space . this also stops use of fuel,... looking for water and coconuts as water can be made after any meal when only coals are left. as my boat is only 4 meters ...saving fuel is most important ,as I can only carry 80 liters and have a 50 hp engine. using the largest diameter pipe that will fit in bung, makes water maker much faster as does keeping cold water bucket .... the 10 liter white bucket cool by changing its salt water as it gets hotter from the steam passing thru it. any way, if you have space for a 10 liter bucket you have a water maker. thanks so much for this series ,as I find it sooooo good.... and I will be doing the same trip more or less . cleaning and burning the plastic as I go. will be using a large rocket stove to get maximum temp as to minimize pollution. as rocket stoves burn clean, with no smoke. I am sadden by lack of place names in your series but it seems common practice nowadays, ....really the chance of people going to these places is very small. I will be fishing and perhaps spearing I don't think I am fit enough at 60 to spear Anymore . I will be starting from cook town, as the beach just south of cape flattery is famous for its ability to collet rubbish from all over Asia especially the complete sheets the thongs are stamped from,... let alone the thongs I have been on this beach many times and you could build many house roofs from all the thongs. as far as I can Rember the beach is called 17 mile beach. thanks for the prodding to get out and do something in the wild...... as I live on a ten meter vessel I feel this is something I can do. only in the morning when it is cool but, at my age, that beach should take all year to clear, ha ha . sorry for the length of this comment .
Hey! I'm American and understand what flip-flops and thongs are... and I'm a country in-lander too. Not too many uses for flip-flops and thongs here right now... high today will be lucky to hit 50°F... or 10°C for you Aussies... That beach looks incredible though... trash and all...
very prolific, having spent a fair bit of time up that way they are everywhere. Even out on the islands amongst the reef, you always have to be incredibly diligent. as long as your careful and don't do anything stupid its not much of a problem though.
Wait? what happened to the cutie? Came expecting to see her and I get some bloke with a beard instead?! LOL Not cool man!. Hey all kidding aside... great video. looks like a blast.
Guys make your own desalination water , get a large stainless steel pot with the lid turn it up side down drill a hole in the top , then put another steel pot small below the hole, fill the larger pot with salt water below the smaller pot , put it on the fire and the steam will run down the lid into the small pot and give you fresh drinking water
All these sites bitch about he Plastic but never see them pick it up. Just move it from high tide. They fish and eat off the land. Why not do something positive for the Island? A million RUclipss doing he same thing complaining about the Plastic. Pick int up!
bit hard to pick up plastic when your in a boat or kayak off shore in the middle of no where near no main land, where are ya meant to keep it?? gotta conserve fuel and weight. Open your eyes mate! at least theyre out filming the issues to bring awareness. I'm sure as hell you're not doing sweet f all either
@@Sammyobst Ok so we are all aware for the last 30 years.. We are responsible. Move it off shore, high tide will just moves out again. Ill bet 1/4 of this shit comes off boats.

Just a question, how prolific are crocs up in these areas,I’m trying to put a sailing plan together from newarsehole nsw, cheers.

I hope you left some coconuts for the next people who are stranded/visit the islands.
I always called them "Thongs" as a kid, but I am an old Yank.
