We're really close now. Got to be a chance the preorder will be announced in the Sunday preview in less than 72 hours. When we thought we would be getting a versus box, with both Bretonnians and Tomb Kings, I was excited to do both, but now I'm not really wanting the Bone Dragon, so I'll just get the Bretonnian box. Hopefully I will get round to a Tomb Kings army later on too.
I always look forward to your coverage on Old World stuff. Likely because I have a relatively high tolerance for the grey pile of shame I’ll pick up both boxes and all of the proposed books (5 so far). I don’t really have any TK to speak of so it would be nice to collect an army from scratch. I do have a bunch of old Bretonnians both metal and the 5th edition box set but I could also get almost the same feeling of collecting an army from scratch there as well since a fair number of the proposed minis are newer sculpts vs what I have even if they are still really old sculpts. All of this is hitting the nostalgia button big time which has me hyped enough that I’ll be picking up quite a bit. I just hope it doesn’t get cut again…I know it hurt a lot when the WHFB game was thrown out and replaced by a pretty shoddy AOS. That game has matured a lot no doubt in the intervening years but I would be pretty unlikely to get into it compared with the old rank and flank fantasy which was my first love. I suspect my thoughts and feeling on AOS align with a number of the old guard of fantasy. I certainly don’t want to take away from anyone’s enjoyment of a game but I really don’t want to get involved or invested into it all the same outside of taking some of the modern miniatures and converting them to fantasy.
Lovely chat, gentleman. I think you should both buy the Bretonnian AND Tomb King boxes. Have a race to see who can complete them fastest! 😉 In all seriousness, if money isn’t an issue, why wouldn’t you buy both? This is the game you love the most returning after many years! Treat yourselves! 😊
@@NineInchCharge I prefer the factions with the least out of date models in a solid army list. Could be any of the nine. So far I think High elves using seaguard as the only core unit is my best shot. Maybe the TK Royal Court army is Ushabti core. But i refuse to play Old Horrible Sculpts like old skeletons old Knights or High Elf Spearman for Example. Might have to go All chaos as a last resort and use full Slaves to Darkness models.

Many review videos. But this channel is what I rely on for the honest take 💪🏻
