Lawrence Central High School Band actually used this piece this last marching season, and they did a magnificent job! They ended up placing 8th at BOA Championships! But of course, can't wait to see what The Cavaliers have in store for us!!! :D
Just imagining this played by the Cavies is blowing my mind. This season is going to be RIDICULOUS, every corps seems to be going completely over the top in terms of concept, CAN'T WAIT! DRUM CORPS IS UPON US!
To be honest... This is right up the green machines ally.. the last time they attempted a jazz themed like show we got "My Kind of Town" not up to par from The Cavaliers that we know... but this... yeah, I like this a lot! I can't wait till I hear it on the field
Cavaliers 2011 Show was pretty freaking good. In my opinion it should've gotten 2nd instead of 3rd. But oh well. Jungle tango was my favorite. And Nature Boy.
As everyone says, this is in the Cavaliers 2011 show. Does anyone have a link to them rehearsing? Have heard the Devils (entertaining show, not going to win though), saw Phantom (another epic show, like Spartacus), and Cadets (just insane performance for early June). Would love to see the Cavs. This is going to be an epic year for drum corps.
2011's cavaliers!!!
This is Libertango by Piazzolla, modified of course.

This song is just perfect for some super fast drill! Can't wait to see cavies put it on the field.
Cavies are gonna make this piece come even more alive with their XtraordinarY drill they have every year.
This is Libertango…
I like how every single comment is somehow in relation to the Cavaliers. This is kind of awesome.
Really, The rosemont Cavaliers (drum corp) GENIUS!

Hell yeah! This song is the Shit!!!!!
@0ceanic815 everything. the cleveland cavaliers march cavaliers on the off season
Traffic has increased severely due to the Cavs. Can't wait to see them on the DCI screen in month.
I don't really want to join the bandwagon, but it's hard to say that the Cavaliers DIDN'T play thing song ridiculously awesome. Too good.
the accordion
@0ceanic815 yeah Lebron played baritone and Shaq played tuba
It's NOT just a marching band. It's a drum corp.
@ssphn me tooooo. this is madness.
@Superunknownful What's a drum and bubble core? Like a marching band for the nba team?
Puking under the stage and what not
@0ceanic815 a drum and bugle corps that did a cover of this
@0ceanic815 its sorta like a marching band in some ways just look it up lol
The beginning kinda made me sketchy, but halfway through it, it's a jam.
@Superunknownful I looked it up. It's just marching band...but what's it have to do with Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers?
A libertango variation??
Was thinking the same thing . . .
@0ceanic815 dude its also in the related videos
@Superunknownful WAIT SERIOUSLY?!?!?1/1/!?!? So LeBron and Shaq were in band?
Isn’t this just libertango?
It's drum corps. Who's the genius now?
The Word
If only Cavies 2011 had a quality recording or video, but nowhere to be found...
What's a cavie
does kyrie irving play flute?
Too bad, the beginning of the song is missing. But thanks for sharing, though! :)
What's a Cavalier? Lebron Jame?
How do you write a game in coffee?
Well its been a year since someone commented...
Cavies.:)))
Wait this is literally just a reimagined version of Libertango. Bruh, really?
I love these comments lol
You cut off the best part
Minecraft band boy...
Mhm. What's your point? I enjoy good music, and I like a game written in Java.
Kyrie Irving is the starting pointguard for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Genuis band nerd.
Who's Kyrie Irving? And Drum Corps don't have woodwinds.
I hate the NBA, but that's just me. And it's geek, not nerd, NBA fanboy
