This is the midnight color. Same thing happened when I accidentally preordered a pink phone and thought it was red a few years ago 😃

Forgot about 120hz even if screen is 90 hz but dynamic changing then we can save battery when we are seeing statics content or video so small battery can be enough
Probably no space for a third lens and lidar. 120hz will drain a lot of battery even if it is variable.The battery on the mini isn't that great with 60hz so it doesn't make sense to put 120hz.maybe 90hz variable refresh rate

Going to wait a year to see if the minis are truly discontinued. If they are, going from my 12 mini to the 13 mini and probably won't change for a very long time. The minis have been my favorite iPhones and I don't want to compromise on size for quality of phone.
I think if Apple discontinues this line it will not be for good but only till battery technology changes and let put much more capacity into same space.
@@marcingajek5418 one would hope that, but if the smaller phones don't sell as well just like the 12 mini, I don't think Apple would keep making them even if the battery was as good as the 12 pro max. I would love the mini lines to keep going, but the consumer demand hasn't met their standards yet.

Typing this on my 13 mini. Loving it so far I had the 11 pro max and I do not regret the downsizing, more pocket friendly, not that much of a battery life sacrifice vs the 12 mini. So happy I held out.
Currently typing this on my 13 Pro max with one 1TB option in the blue color way, and I am loving it so far. I used to have the 11 pro max with 256gb option and space grey and I can say im enjoying the new Marco camera and LiDAR Scanner.
How’s the typing experience? Does it really look that small like in the video ? What are your regrets

Ahhh I definitely want the mini, it's too bad they plan to discontinue mini's after this, but it makes sense I guess. I'm tired of my phone being too big
same here. ima start saving for the 13 mini too. when the 14 series come out they should still sell the 13 and 13 mini cuz that’s what they’re doing now with the 12 and 12 mini so that gives us a lot of time to save

Never considered the Mini until you sang it's praises. Was gonna get the 13 Pro. But I decided to get the Mini and an iPad Pro 11 with cellular for looking at stuff and more intensive work. Phone just for phone and camera. I LOVE the size of the mini. Had to snag one before this size disappears. Thanks man!
Would love to see what sets the mini apart from the 13 pro line up. For example camera and video quality, charging speeds, one hand usage, sound quality for watching videos, and of course battery life.

Typing this on my new 13 mini. Awesome. I have an iPhone 11 for work, and the mini is almost jarringly small next to it. I’m replacing a 6 and even compared to the 6 it feels compact. Can do everything with one hand again for the first time in years. Love it.

Yes, I have the same concern. Max over at MaxTech experienced poor reception that was definitely caused by the 12 Mini. I too, ordered the Starlight Mini 128GB. Thanks Everyday Dad!

I waited until the SE 3rd Gen came out as I like the 1st and 2nd Gen; but I decided that the 13 mini is so much more that I bought it. It is well worth it. Priced in the 128 G basic on the 13 mini and the $150 trade in from Apple, and it was well worth it. Love you reviews. Clear and thorough. Thanks for the help.

Just upgraded from the XS to a Product Red 13 Mini. Was hoping to be able to wait til later in the year, when my XS loses access to the latest iOS, but the battery decided to become incredibly untrustworthy, so here we are.
Loving it so far. Had to use an iPhone 6 for about a month last year, so the size isn’t freaking me out. And I’m really looking forward to making good use of the phone’s MagSafe capabilities.

I don’t think the iPhone 12 mini was that disappointing in sale. Apple needed a boast, so it started the rumor that it was the last year. And now the sales are probably higher like the SE(2016).

I did reserach form toms guide said this = concerning ot me idk. ""The iPhone 13 mini fared better but not by as big a margin. The new mini lasted for 8 hours and 41 minutes, while last year's iPhone 12 mini notched 7:28. Still, we'll take the increase as battery life has been one of the mini's biggest flaws." = 1 hour 13mins difference."

Get my 13 mini tomorrow. I wanted everything the 12 Pro Max had in a smaller form factor. I never use telephoto or the front facing night mode so those weren’t important to me. Besides I look ridiculous pulling pro max out of my pocket.

Buy mini, save mini! The smaller screen is not an issue at all. Surprisingly, believe me you get used to smaller screen quickly and you won’t even miss the larger screen of 13. On the other hand it’s just so convenient to carry and pocket.
I've been a Samsung user since and wanting to try iPhone 😅 going to get the 12mini but ddnt know apple is launching the 13s 😅 so I'm gonna wait for your FULL MINI REVIEW before I get mine ☺

I returned my 13PM and opted for the 13mini and I don’t regret it. I use my mini for calls and texts (not Texas, 😂) and my 12.9 IPad Pro for everything else. Cheers!

Thanks for the video. One comment on the sound though. Every time you put something on the table there’s this barrel boom sound that gets a bit distracting. I ordered the Midnight iPhone 13. I took it to be black, but reviews I have watched basically say it's a midnight blue. I hope it is, because I love that color.

Thumb up for you and question, how is battery life in 13 mini? This is for now my biggest question. Here in Poland mini 256GB version would cost me about two salaries and this is a lot for me. Also - i`ve had android since forever really, never had iphone before but now i`m looking something smaller, more handy but that battery life is one big unknown. If you tested this - i`m counting on your opinion about that.

I'm looking forward to improved battery life. That's my main goal with getting the 13 mini. I had a regular 12 and it had pretty good battery life. I'm hoping the mini will match that at least.
Initial tests seem to be right on par with the 12 which is decent
apple says it’s 1.5 hrs longer so it should be good
Check mrwhosetheboss latest video. 13 mini lasts longer than 12 by a hour. But real time usage may differ because of cellular connection

OK, hear me out… Pre-Order a 13 mini, 512gb, with AppleCare+, with a full body real leather magsafe case to go with it and magsafe battery pack (to use as night charger too). The idea being to have an ultra-durable, one-handed, premium phone that will outstand during the next 4-6 years… In two years time get apple to change the battery and screen before the coverage runs out, and ride it out until the future phoenix resurrection of the mini.
They should have named it the “Air”. I’m calling mine “Steve”, really think it’s the one phone now that still honors Job’s vision.
You should just pay for Apple care+ monthly since it is the better deal
How do you get them to replace the screen and battery?
Better buy a more durable case like Rhinoshield or something. Leather case wears out and not so durable.
The adhesive on the sticker likely makes it unrecyclable.
