I feel you brother, im permanently disabled for the d0d at 38 and I have about 150gs in saving, taking care of wife, kid, mother and I would make that in less than 2yrs, trying to figure out the future game

This is so on point . I went from thinking I was going to loose my job , saw great friends loose their jobs , I was lucky enough to keep my job, was promoted and thrown in at 100 miles an hour never been so busy. But feel anxious still and we never ever really talked about what we went through .
I hear you. My company had lay offs then we were short staffed because people kept quitting (or some quit when they heard about the downsizing) and it has just been a revolving door since. Every time I new person starts a few months later during one of our weekly virtual meetings we here, "I have some news. I am going to be leaving on such and such a date."
Personally, I still believe that there’s a chance I’m going to get ostracized and deny jobs and have the government track me because I’m not vaccinated because I chose to wait until I’m in the risk factor to get the vaccine because I’m young I’m healthy I’m at the peak of my physical health and immune system I don’t need it. I need it and one thing bother me. The most about the entire pandemic is just because I don’t want to get it doesn’t mean I think no one else can get it. You have the free choice to do what you want and I have the free choice to do what I want, and that’s the thing that bothered me the most about the pandemic and now everyone just moves on like they didn’t treat people like me like I deserve to die like I personally killed her grandfather I adhered to guidelines, I wore my mask, hi social distance, which is something I already did before the pandemic but still, I get blamed for the problems in society it’s not the governments miss handling of the pandemic it’s young people like me who don’t get sick not getting the vaccine

I was the landlord for a restaurant in Washington state. I did not get a rent payment for 18 months because of that state’s lockdown on restaurants. Ten people who depended on that rent check to get a paycheck, did not get one and I had to sell the restaurant at a loss . I will NEVER invest in a DEMOCRAT state or city again.
These are inherent risks of having a business depending on rentals. Sorry you had to sell a restaurant... many people died and had to sell everything they own. You are entitled and deserve to live in a Republican-run state.

I just realised that I am burnt out. Dave is correct, we went from Zero to 220 kph. I am exhausted and my job just 'rewarded' us with 12 hour shifts twice a week. It doesn't sound like much but sitting in a chair for that long has wrecked my body. 🤕 I literally feel like I can't stand anymore.
Need to get up at least hourly for a minute or two move all your parts around, hard to do when it's crazy busy I know
Get a standing desk or prep your spine and future for early disability.

A great topic to address. Thank you for talking about this subject. Noone is going to move on for us, no on will admit how much the messed up so we all are going to have to take care of healing our trauma ourselves and for many they will need to seek out some help.

I was fine but cautious as a front line worker just until Dow Constantine, the King County Executive in Washington state declared his injection mandate against me (and thousands of other workers). I endured six months of torture from these people - they had spent the pandemic safely hidden at home while I was at risk. God is my strength. My religious exemption was not "accommodated" even though I had held the job through the entire pandemic and for six months after Constantine's mandate was declared. They fired me in February - along with hundreds of coworkers. Society needs to see us and realize this has been done to us. Not just my specific coworkers but ALL the innocent people fired for these immoral mandates. It's as if we are invisible and swept under the rug. Our financial lives have been devastated. Our lives turned upside down by politicians and CEOs who actually think it's their right to force experimental drugs into workers as a "workplace rule." I had 20 years in my beloved career. It isn't something you can just move laterally over to some other similar position. So I have had to start from the bottom somewhere else. My dream is to be free from employers and to live a sustainable self-supporting lifestyle asap. Not sure how I will get there but am praying about it.
They acted criminally, in my opinion, and deserve a modern Nuremberg Trial.

Thanks I knew this in my heart but needed to hear this. It’s so pitiful that our leaders can not admit when they are wrong. At this point Washington is a joke. And although I believe the worst is behind us, technically the pandemic is not over so you can not really move on from it cause it’s still happening. I know I’m still in it.

Thank you as a healthcare professional just because YOU didn't see it and the devastating loss of life those working in ICUs experienced, does not mean it did not happen. Because you listened primarily to nurses or doctors not responsible for ICU patients who said it wasn't happening does not change the fact that IT WAS. It is all about who YOU CHOSE to believe. For me and countless others, WHAT WE SAW dictated our beliefs.

Although I agree with most of the ideas shared here, I will say that Fauci has said he was wrong and that we acted based off the data that we had at that time. To say he never said that is false. However, everything else I agree with and should be spoken about and worked on.

Somehow I missed this when it first aired but I've wanted to hear Dave speak on this. It was traumatic for everyone and the world just doesn't seem real to just go back like nothing happened. We came through basically ok but my husband quit his job rather than be mandated to take a shot. Thankfully with no debt we could make the decision for him to leave
I think Americans don't know how to process. We're told don't look back keep going.

I lost a few family members due to Covid so I do believe it's real. What I do agree with in this video is that our government was all that good at embracing new data as it came in. Shouldn't be all that difficult since many of our jobs are like that. Next time we know how to social distance and mask up allowing our society and businesses to function as they should.
I lost everything in 2020, including the Dyson pet vacuum. I am still healing and moving forward.

Honestly like we are robots some of us lost so many family members and lost our jobs and homes! Now we are just treated like nothing happened. Everyday I wake up o just pray Jesus comes back as soon as possible. It seems like no one realizes some people are traumatized and still picking up the pieces !
