+chug20 In Colorado, EMT-Basics can receive their IV certification which allows them to initiate and discontinue peripheral lines, administer D50, administer Narcan IN, and bolus fluids. It's a 24 hour additional course with a clinical requirement. Those EMTs are then designated EMT-IV.

EMT's in Colorado can. And pretty sure we're just designated EMT-B with IV
