@@BatmanStatueCollector yeah at this point I try to keep my collection capped since my room is probably passed max capacity. So every piece in requires a piece going out.
I'm not in US so selling statues is prohibited for me because there's no buyers, so I kept every pieces since beginning. That's said I will be extra careful when I do a PO, I would ask myself if I gonna sell it in the future, if yes then I would wait. I still got the 2006 Ironman Stealth Comiqutte from Sideshow! XD
I can relate to this skit when it comes to hot toys. I’ve bought about 8-9 figures back that I missed. It’s also hard in the hot toys game as they are coming out with so many figures, it’s hard to keep up lol
Chris, you really had me go in there😂😂. Donna was going to have to come out there and stage an intervention. Glad you added this to your collection. Congratulations again so happy for you.

completely relate to this i managed to collect all 8 1:1 scale Lantern power batteries from DC Direct (Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, White) - they hadn't made an Indigo lantern/staff, so i made my own during the Covid lockdowns, i've made two (one solid and one that screws apart for easy transport to conventions) I've also been collecting the 1:4 scale lanterns in the Blackest Night line and selling the 1:1 scale Lanterns of the ones I have in 1:4 scale so far, I've sold Black, Red, Orange and Violet Lanterns as I have them in 1:4 scale - already missing them, but I'm running out of room my Blue Lantern and White Lantern I am not selling yet as I don't have the 1:4 scale. I don't have a 1:4 scale green Lantern, but I have a 1:1 scale green Lantern which is more convention friendly - same with the orange lantern, I made a convention friendly version from polystyrene
Awesome Chris 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 - I’m here laughing at the Sanity live stream taking place in 1992 😂! 🤘🏼🦇👊🏼. Absolutely true what the mindset of something we love as collectors no matter what we collect! We love something it always finds a way back in the collection.
Fun video, I knew it was way too soon to sell lol. I do think Sanity is probably going to be, if not a permanent fixture, then a very long-term one for Chris. Just cause it fits so well with how he themes the statues in his room. It's like taking everything Chris loves about his Finch art wall and turning that into a statue =D. While I remember I was against selling the Arkhamverse statues, I do hope you one day get suitable comic book replacements for the Arkham Two-Face and Mr. Freeze statues. Since that would fit your tastes in statues more. I've sold a few statues, well figures actually, but not had any regrets yet. I've only got a few pieces that I can't imagine selling currently.
It's just inevitable to not sell pieces with this hobby, especially when you have that much statues and probably more on PO and such. This hobby is super expensive one statue can cost like my car easily, so sometimes you need to sell stuff, this is life.
You should return it, didn't come with the Freeze glass dome. However I'm selling my glass dome for a low low price of $3,000 with Free Shipping!! 😁 Good stuff, you had me with the thumbnail/title 😄
I am a buyer/collector of these items and I have never sold anything, so quite frankly I cannot relate. But I do understand collectors who sell a piece in order to fund and/or make room for a newer, better piece. But Chris, when you admit to buying/rebuying something three separate times, well my friend, you have a problem (LOL!!!) By the way, I bought Sanity (color version) (ordered it at the same Denver show you saw it at) and still love it as much as the first day we got it in and put it together.
Funny thing is, your the first person ive seen with this and i was there for the unboxing so from here on out, ill always associate you with the smoke statue.
This was great 🤣 I won't have this problem because I would never sell any statues. Unless someone wants to come to my house and box it up themselves. I had to pack up prime 1 Wonder Woman vs Hydra to send to sideshow to get a replacement and I thought I'd rather smash these things with a sledgehammer than try and re box all this crap 🤣
Chris… I thoroughly love your content. Always have. But sometimes I feel like I’m witnessing a man digressing into a collector’s -ahem!- insanity… Lol. Be well, my friend…
@@BatmanStatueCollector end of day as collector it what you love.i love art of most kind so understand .what you going through .and more personal in the end and unique to you as collector .i miss your arkham ones as first i saw in your old room .take care .statue is amazing though
I don’t necessarily think it’s bad to buy and sell a piece 3 times, I just find it odd to do an unboxing and review video of the same piece 3 times. But that’s just me 🤷🏻♂️
A dream come true, next day seeya. Why? Manic. I like Chris but think reason I don't watch as much these days is because of this polar whackiness. Yes whatever, adult making decision...every right... yada yada but VIEWERS like me may also like continuity in actions following what is said more often than not which garners authenticity. Im sure Chtis is a great guy, has had good success probably making decent money developing viewer base on YT .. but as for authentic Chris, only his family knows. Cheers.
I'm just simply having fun making light of myself. I'm fairly serious about the hobby most of the time, and it's a true passion, but there are elements of the hobby that can be quite humorous!
Hulk. You need to flip a coin and put your 2 face life size mask on. Buying statues that go directly into storage is another fun one...
I’ve never had the urge to sell one of my statues. Am I the weird one in the group lol
Glad to hear that!!
Some things simply cannot be sold.
You want to sell them but you can’t because you don’t really want to sell them. Paradox!
The collector’s dilemma. Mostly a space problem for me.
It's hard to let them go sometimes, but sometimes sacrifices need to be made.

God I can't even imagine with how many they churn out a year especially with all the upgraded re-releases they do.
@@BatmanStatueCollector a lot cheaper than statues but yeah dropping 80-90 figs a year. People already selling 2022 Batman lol

Deal...better be a glass dome and not some cheap plastic 🤣🤣
@@BatmanStatueCollector 😄 damn...it's cheap plastic..but very shiny and clear.
I don’t think the Smoke version has a glass dome. I checked the XM site and it wasn’t part of the piece.
CHRIS. you might need to check on your own SANITY - pun intended.
Lost my SANITY years ago lol
You had me with that titel for a few seconds 😊😅. But this masterpiece will be in the bunker for a long time
I hope it never has to go!

I think I’m stuck in the matrix,where’s Neo?!!😂
When you were unboxing it, I was literally thinking that thing will be gone in a week.
Ha, hopefully keeping this one for a very long time.
Batman's Santiy statue is making you exactly the opposite: insane 🤣

I thought you lost your mind there for a minute. Lol
Yea, I’m ok with parting with some pieces.
Hopefully this one will stay forever!!
I personally might of enjoyed it for a few years or one. But new hobbies are expensive choices choices.
Tough choices indeed!
