Before the update, I experienced some serious focus breathing with the 35mm F2 in interview scenarios, especially when the subjects get animated and start moving around...I'm looking forward to testing it out again and seeing how it performs. I did film another talking head after updating my XT3's firmware and the image stayed rock steady, but I don't want to declare victory until I've observed it with an animated subject.

Great results, thanks! It is a bit odd that so many RUclipsrs complain about the AF of the X-T4, but X-T3 users are all so happy about this firmware update that is supposed to bring the X-T3 to the same level with the X-T4???
One is price, xt3 is cheaper and having good xt4 like af is simply great. The other is that many own the xt3 its a much older model, this updates are therefore appreciated. Xt4 is new so if has problems yes people will complain.

I have a problem with my X-T3. I contacted fujifilm but i still haven't got an answer. I updated the camera to the latest version of the firmware and i noticed that the eye proximity sensor does not work. it won't switch from the lcd to the evf.. and yeah, i tried different view modes. The second problem i have is with the gyroscope sensor, it doesn't work at all :)) i have the electronic level on and it shows me a straight line even if i rotate my camera. Does somebody know how can I solve these problems without reaching out to the guarantee services?
The only times I have had trouble with the eye proximity sensor I found that the eye cup had shifted and was obscuring its view. Make sure it is clicked firmly in place.
2 options. from fujis website or having the fujifilm camera remote app and update through bluetooth, the latter of which I did and was pretty quick and easy
what happened to you? You haven’t done a video in a year. It’s a shame cause your videos are so enjoyable and informative.

the focus limiter is such a great addition too!! will prevent accidentally focusing on the background

Did not notice focus breathing very much if at all. Sony's a6400 is also a nice camera, but I prefer the ergonomics of the Fuji.

I was wondering the same. There might be some further comparisons needed here. Working great so far!

Just got a firmware update as well. For minor bugs lol.
Xh1 only got dual core instead of quad core of xt3/4 so I guess it will not come... :( I got both cams and the newer processor is way faster
