------------
Apocalyptica is a Finnish cello metal band that was formed in 1993. The group is known for its unique blend of classical music and heavy metal, primarily featuring instrumental cello arrangements of popular metal songs. The original members of Apocalyptica were classically trained cellists Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen, and Perttu Kivilaakso, along with drummer Mikko Sirén.
Apocalyptica gained international recognition with their debut album, "Plays Metallica by Four Cellos" released in 1996. The album featured instrumental covers of Metallica songs performed solely on cellos. The success of this album led to their subsequent albums incorporating original compositions and collaborations with various vocalists and musicians.
Over the years, Apocalyptica has released several albums, including "Inquisition Symphony," "Cult," "Reflections," "Worlds Collide," and "Shadowmaker," among others. They have collaborated with artists such as Corey Taylor from Slipknot, Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil, Gavin Rossdale from Bush, and many more.
Apocalyptica's music combines the emotional intensity of classical music with the
Love this group. They make their cellos sing.
Another great reaction!
Apocalyptica ..1 of my favorite groups❤❤ They have collab with some of the Greatest Singers also
I like listening to all these versions with you. This is one of my favorite of all-time songs, so getting me to listen to a cover is a tough task. But this is beautiful.
Thanks and that’s what’s up
Nothing Else Matters is easily one of Metallica's top 5 best songs in my opinion. But this version, puts me on another world and puts a lump in my throat every single time I listen to it. And I have listened to it thousands of times. Thank you for reacting to it.
Apocalyptica has covered a wide selection from Metallica and other bands, as well as produced many original tracks. If you still want to look into more I would suggest Welcome Home (Sanitarium) or Fade to Black. Though there aren't any official videos for those songs, the beauty of the cellos shine there. It imparts so much depth and soul to the music, which was already top notch.
Really enjoyed this! It was soothing to the soul. Thanks!
There is also an Apocalyptica video featuring Brent Smith from the band SHINEDOWN called Not Strong Enough. You might want to check out. SHINEDOWN is one of my favorite bands next to PENTATONIX and Twenty One Pilots.

You like cello? MUST check out the brothers that call themselves "Two Cellos." Their covers of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" and their colab with Steve Vie doing "Highway to Hell" are both out of this world. I never thought that a cello could even remotely sound like that!
Hi W. Took a week off from the net, now catching up. Loving the channel more every time I get back to you. Peace.
Thanks hope all is well
There's no violins, it's literally 4 cellos. It's a versatile instrument.
I highly recommend checking out Apocalytpica's Hope, Vol.2 Feat. Matthias Sayer.
Please check out Apocalyptica featuring Brent Smith (Shinedown) Not Strong Enough
If You like Cello, check out Rasputina
3goth Chicks, 3 cellos...
