No, first thing to recall about Melo, is that it was always all about Melo.
7 game Winning streak stopped when Melo came back, what does that tell you. Would have liked to see Melo out rest of the season and see how far the Knicks would have gone without him. It's clear the team chemistry changed and not for the better.
That was the only time when I became a NYN fan

As a die-hard Spurs fan, I always used to root for and watch Jeremy Lin leading the Knicks. Mike D'antoni glorious days in the big Apple.
