Dear Steffi, this is a very honest feedback and am thankful from the bottom of my heart for posting this video. I have tried sambar many times using recipes in blogs, other RUclips videos but never once got it right after hours of slaving to get it right. Today I followed your recipe verbatim and just the way you say it: Tadaaa, the sambar came out awesome. More so how my aunt used to make sambar and she is an amazing cook. I was overwhelmed and wanted to share how thankful I am on behalf of all the amateur aspiring cooks like me - your videos are a life saver. One small suggestion. Thalipu can be added last in order to get maximum flavour and fragrance of perungayam and curry leaves. Also add the tamarind pulp after boiling the vegetables and dal together. This way the vegetables cook fast and also the sambar will taste better. Suggestions based on personal experience!

One small suggestion. Thalipu can be added last in order to get maximum flavour and fragrance of perungayam and curry leaves. Also add the tamarind pulp after boiling the vegetables and dal together. This way the vegetables cook fast and also the sambar will taste better. Suggestions based on personal experience!
