Pro tip: after grating the ginger squeeze it in a lemon squeezer and add honey to the juice. Soothes the throat and helps dry the ginger pulp faster

ever heard of sonth? it's readily available in grocery stores..not really expensive but yes don't even try to make tea out of it...it will be a horrible experience.
onion n garlic powders though are something not easily found in indian grocery stores n are expensive...so those are a great find.

I had tried this method and found it doesn't always works due to temperature and humidity.
So invented a new and lesser known method. I used vinegar and table salt to make coarse paste of individual spices (onion/garlic/ginger). If it doesn't dry within that day, at least it won't catch mould or have discoloration. Vinegar and salt, both are natural preservatives and have negligible effect on aroma and flavour of these spices.
I can guarantee you this method is 100% foolproof and most durable. I made garlic powder on 20 January 2018 and today is 18 March 2019 and still my spice powders are alright and still using them. Saves plenty of money making them at home. Just buy them when its dirt cheap.
Vinegar preserves color beautifully. My dry onion chunks looked like Ruby crystals before grinding.

👍👍👍, miss, tks for good tips.
    Here i have 2questions :-
    1. There are lots of food channel uploaders , esp. From your country, i supposed ,using the same blender or chopper, may i know what brand is that ?
I wish to buy one soon.
Where can find this product, and roughly how much ? Just for guideline.
    2. Can i use no oil , pan fry over low heat dry those garlic or ginger etc. Or oven dry them
Sun dry takes longer time than oven or dry pan over low heat .
    Tq

You can add vinegar and salt to onions and wet grind it. Spread the paste on plastic in small lumps. This way onion won't catch green fungus or rott if it doesn't get enough sunlight during winter.
I dried 2 days under sun, then using room heater blew hot air to make it super dry. When cooled, I dry grind them to powder. This way the onion retains it's colour and salt helps preserve it.
