Thanks James! Welcome to the Neighborhood and thanks for being a subscriber to the channel! A4000 has wide, large soundstaging, but a bit brighter and thinner sounding (despite good mid bass dynamics) compared to the B3 which is a more mid focused and mid centric set with a more neutral note weight. A8000 I have not been sent, have not heard it enough to really comment. Hopefully final will send one of those an a5000 soon. I will reach out to them and see.

Great review as always! I own final E3000 and I like them a lot. Only problem with these is detachable cable so I consider A4000 as upgrade. Can you compare E3000 and A4000 in terms of SQ?
E3000 is a good IEM too, but I would say A4000 isna step up but brighter and thinner in its presentation. More in the vein of an HD800, but not quite that thin. Thanka for being a susbcriber to the channel/Neighborhood.

Whizzer he01,Tanchjim Hana, or final audio b3. The fr of the ones you mentioned, none are really flat or midforward enough for monitoring. For monitoring I use the reecho and peacock spring day, but it is a bit dry tonally. Tin t3, t4, or the tfz no. 3 with new tips and cable might be additional recs for monitors and music. I have had these since they came out. I started off disappointed with them and found them boring. I had listened to an early review that set expectations way too high, they aren't a mini a8000. I've grown to really like them, I see them as a ruggedized IEM for daily use. These are the IEM I reach for when I'm heading out. They're so comfortable and easy to get along with. I think their sound is near neutral with a slight tasteful bass boost. I get an impression of great clarity or transparency from them. They don't interfere too much with my music. If I lost them I would buy another immediately. I tried them on the headphone socket of two android phones, at max volume they got to a level I could enjoy if there was no environmental noise but, I prefer a little extra power behind them and use a Fiio BTR5, they are loud at one third volume on that. Foam tips don't sound good on them, Spinfit co100 and cp145 fit and sound really great. The stock tips are excellent, I just tried other tips out of interest.
I know this review is a few years old now but the comparison to the hd800 shocked me. As someone that uses that headphone on a daily basis im looking for a budget iem to pair with exclusively with a vr headset (so soundstage, imaging as a priority) The hd 800 is physically far too big when using vr. Is this the one? What about ikko 0h10, ie600, simgot ew200, aria snow, truthear x crin red, hexa (heard the staging was bad) etc. Help point me in the right direction please. I'd rather not drop cash on Sony IER-Z1R when it's only going to be used for vr (no idea how long for either.)
They made a vr3000 I think at some point that was made specifically for that. Generally I would recommend koss ksc75 for what you're talking about though, unless it has to be an iem. A4000 is a bit bright for some but has a good stage. I hear good things about the a5000 but final hasn't sent that one to the channel yet. No idea about the stage.
@@intoitreviews Thanks for the quick reply. I was looking for a decent sub £300 iem tbh. Hello. I'm hoping you could help me with a dilemma that I'm currently facing right now - I'm upgrading to a new IEM (I'm coming from Audio-Technica IM50) and I'm torn between the Audio-Technica E50, this FiiO FH3, Sennheiser IE40 Pro and Final Audio A4000. Which one would you suggest, and why?
my top Iems in the price range are (in order of 1-5) the TRI Starsea for analytical types, the Tanchjim Hana for tonal balance and being the best girl, the A4000 for soundstage female vocals and a tight bass response (weeb tuning), the Ikko OH10 for tis non-fatiguing sound/tones and for bassheads, and the FH3 for fit, slgihtly dark tonality, and ease of listening. I'd also throw in the Shozy 1.4 as an honorable mention for those that like a vinyl like sound, or the Shozy Rouge for those that like the OH10 sound, but want a more linear bass response. Thanks for subscribing to the channel to show your support. Hope this helps!
@@intoitreviews Oh wow, that is a whole lot of brand names that I've never heard of. I guess this is what happens when I'm out of the loop for 9 years since getting the A-T IM50 back in 2012. Tried looking for a few things online and unfortunately, most of the IEMs mentioned aren't available in my country except for FiiO FH3 and Final Audio A4000, which helps narrow down the selection process to these two. Also, I can't help but notice that you have different IEM selections for different purposes, does that mean one isn't good for other criteria and vice versa? Is there no such thing as an all-rounder IEM? I listen to a whole lot of different genres so this might pose a bit of a problem for me :/
If you want an all arounder between those two, I'd go fh3. Fh3 is darker in its tonality and more diffuse in its bass compared to the a4000 which leans bright (even if it sounds warm compared to a blessing 2), and has a more forward midrange. I would say the shozy 1.1 and tanchjim hana are the most balanced, but you don't have access to those, got to do the next best thing :( i carry the a4k daily myself though, cause its very portable (lighter weight and less bulky compared to fh3), and easy to use on the fly. Make the best choice for you given these considerstions.
@@intoitreviews I see. Might as well go with the FH3 since I don't really see that many negative reviews about it, and pick up the A4000 later if I got the extra money just for the sake of having something to compare the FH3 with. Thank you so much!
The VR3000 is a lower grade IEM with an attached cable; which, although good for its intended application and its cheaper price, sounds much more "run of the mill" compared to the A4000.
Let me ask you I'm looking at these but I'm also looking at the e4000 what's the difference, which one is better. Maybe that's to broad which one gives the best clarity and details
I will mention it in the B3 review yes. I have upcoming reviews on the TRI Starsea, Harmonic Dyne Zeus, Kinera Nanna 2.0, Tanchjim Hana, and the Blessing 2, that will come before that review though unfortunately. If you have specific questions, the discord is a great place to join (link in the description) or I can try to answer them here. the B3 is more of a neutral reference, poor man's andromeda with more linear than emphasized bass, its a different presentation than the A4000. I love both, but both are unique from each other. If I was picking one, it would be the b3, but your mileage may vary. Thanks for subscribing to support the channel.
Thanks for your answer! I already have the B3, and I love the Final sound! I'm looking for a budget iem with bigger soundstage and brighter than the B3. Based on other reviews, the A4000 seems to satisfy both criteria, but I'm afraid they sound too similar
Proprietary cable basically, plastic housing and it competes with 250-300USD IEMs in my country. Tough sell... I think I'll opt for the 'competition' unless it's priced appropriately lol
i replied this to another comment that was similar: "better will depend on your values. oh10 is somewhat smoother and more subbass. both have a wide stage that is similar and tip dependent. if you like type e tips, get a4000, if you like foams get oh10. if you like cp145 get a4000. if you like want light weight get a4000, if you want fancy and heft/metal shell get oh10. @@intoitreviews So I got to try out both at a local headphone showroom/enthusiasts club yesterday and omg the VR3000 had more accurate imaging than e3000/4000/A4000. Pure audio performance of a4000 is more potent but soundstage and location accuracy just shines on the VR3000 . I just dont understand how they made it possible in an IEM!? :D
Very different sounds. No.3 sounds like Argons and A4000 sounds like HD800s. If you want to upgrade from the No. 3 consider the Tanchjim Oxygen or Final Audio B3. Thanks for being a subscriber to the channel.
Good morning Intoit, ať least here😁😃, sorry to bother you again but many people are telling me “no get the A4000 much better then Hana , Hana for some difficult fit, piercing highs often, too bright”... you know both🥰🙋♂️
Hana is less bright than A4000, although I do like both sets. Hana is the more tonally balanced set. There is some upper mids energy around 3K on the Hana, but it is less energetic than the A4000, which borders more on shout and mild siblance with its weeb tuning. Again, I like both sets, but Hana is objectively the winner unless you want the particular tuning that the A4000 offers. I own both and would give up neither though.
Love that answer😄😊... I feel the same way... and plan to get both... U know I don’t know why Crinacle put both of these sets down he talked about some valley effect with Hana , and some like cheap tuning with A4000... but I somehow feel both of these sets are really precious... I could get the Oxygen immediately but something in me wants the Hana.... and the Oxygen maybe next Year ... really appreciate Your opinion Thank you❗️♥️
Interesting comparisons. ZsN Pro X I mostly recommend for Netflix, and for those that likena dry warm tonality. Bl-05 is a dumpster fire... these from Final are great, even at their higher price!
O2 is very intimate and a4000 is very wide staging. You're basically asking hd800 vs hd650... o2 is more subbassy, a4000 more midbassy. A4000is bright and somewhat intense, o2 is dark and smooth. Both are great. Thanks for subscribing.
@@intoitreviews I feel my ears are starting to enjoy brighter things like Tripowin TC01 or HZsound Heart Mirror. Is the A4000 brightness within reach of these?
U have a detailed and great review. You have a detailed report on sound like high mid and low and soundstage and tonality which i appreciate so much! I am interested in a3000/4000 so i would like to watch your whole review. But for ppl who are not interested in this specific model then they would find your video not so attractive. Firstly, for the big amount of words describing sound eg the high, ur speaking speed can be a bit faster in the place that u don't want to emphasize. I would prefer more small predicted sentences and small simple conclusion sentences. English is not my mother language so sometimes its a bit too hard for me. Secondly, i hope there would be more object moving in your video like looking around the box and the spinning of the iem. Thirdly i think the tone of your voice can be more a4000😂it sounds a little bit too flat for now. Anyway i like your review and i would search for product that i am interested to see. Just want to let u know i look forward to having more videos from u and please keep on doing review. 💪I am sure u would get more subscribe soon. better will depend on your values. oh10 is somewhat smoother and more subbass. both have a wide stage that is similar and tip dependent. if you like type e tips, get a4000, if you like foams get oh10. if you like cp145 get a4000. if you like want light weight get a4000, if you want fancy and heft/metal shell get oh10. I like both. I will be carrying the a4000 around and listening to the oh10 at home. hope that helps, thanks for subscribing.
Is the VR3000 similar to imaging of A4000?
I have not heard the 3000 but my understanding is no...
@@intoitreviews Thanks for the speedy reply! I was assuming that cause of the driver style but ofcourse many other build related things would matter too.
Vs. tfz no. 3, i have tfz no. 3, do you think i need to buy a4000
Very different sounds. No.3 sounds like Argons and A4000 sounds like HD800s. If you want to upgrade from the No. 3 consider the Tanchjim Oxygen or Final Audio B3. Thanks for being a subscriber to the channel.
@@intoitreviews tanchjim oxygen and final audio b3 are better than A4000?
Yes
@@intoitreviews tanchjim oxygen and final audio b3 sounds like what headphones?
How are they for bass?

The bgm is kind of distracting to say the least, but thanks for the review, esp the detailed review of the cable and the tips
Thanks for subscribing!
This or etymotic er2se?,thanks mate
I like these substantially more from a stage and fit perspective. Thanks for subscribing.
I could get the Oxygen immediately but something in me wants the Hana.... and the Oxygen maybe next Year ... really appreciate Your opinion Thank you❗️♥️
O2 is more special with vocals and layering. HANA is more of a traditionally balanced tuning. I prefer the snappy bass in the HANA as well.
Yes it looks like Hana really got you, maybe even more then Shozy Rouge😉😁
It's not a resolving as the rouge, but its close and has a more musical sound. Both are great sets for the price. My Rouge broke unfortunately.
How does it compare to the KZ ZSN Pro X or Blon BL-05?
Interesting comparisons. ZsN Pro X I mostly recommend for Netflix, and for those that likena dry warm tonality. Bl-05 is a dumpster fire... these from Final are great, even at their higher price!
How to these sound compared to more expensive wireless earbuds such as the airpods and the sony WF-1000XM3
Thanks for subscribing. Sound quality for wireless earbuds can't keep up with audiophile IEMs. Welcome to the Neighborhood!
This vs Oxygen?
O2 is very intimate and a4000 is very wide staging. You're basically asking hd800 vs hd650... o2 is more subbassy, a4000 more midbassy. A4000is bright and somewhat intense, o2 is dark and smooth. Both are great. Thanks for subscribing.
@@intoitreviews thank you!
@@intoitreviews I feel my ears are starting to enjoy brighter things like Tripowin TC01 or HZsound Heart Mirror.
Is the A4000 brightness within reach of these?
I would never call the tc01 bright nor the heartmirror from what i know of it. Those are both fairly warm. A4000 will e much brighter.
A3000 or A4000?
4000, thanks for being a subscriber!
Not a native English speaker so please forgive me if i say sth wrong😵
Thank you taking the time to write out this response. I will keep this information in mind. Welcome to the Neighborhood! Please share with your friends.
I would. ☺️Wt equipment are u using to listen to a4000? I know that most of the time phone cannot pust final products to the maximum potential. Wt dac/amp would u recommend for home use to maximize the experience with a4000(like even push the soundstage larger more transparent or etc)? Thx. I have zen dac now but i probably don't like it.
Home use centrance dacport hd
It is good but IE800s soundstage is better
i'll have to check it out, thanks for subscribing!
that price gap though
