Hey WP, do you think you can do one of those "graphics settings explained" videos on ARCADE64 UI? It's a very good UI for MAME and there's little info about it, specially on RUclips.
Took me a month to scrub thru all the MAME games from A-Z but I ended up with 1000 ROMS that's handpicked and not roms from a washing machine. That's nothing compared to this project, which is insane.
Thanks for all of your hard work. A question or two, if i want to add non arcade roms to this, like roms for plug an play consoles. How do i do that? Cause just choosing scan does nothing.
Hello and thanks for the incredible work! I'm setting everything up in my launchbox but i have a question: i'd like to have all the games inside a platform called Mame nested in the Arcade category, how can i do that? I tried to simply rename the arcade.xml file into Mame.xml but it doesn't work....neither works creating the platform first in LB and then overwriting the content of the xml file that LB created.
I have a question: I already have a mame folder pre-configured by me. I hand picked about 2.000 non-merged roms. I DID NOT import a full rom set on launchbox. They were all added individually. Can I just place the CFG, NVRAM and the controller images and ignore the arcade platform xml? I guess my question is: Do I even need to bother with the xml if I already have my platform and roms setup?
