I would connect an extra battery at the jump-start points under the hood to keep the codes. Now you will have to re-set everything.

Is a battery test from the jump start points reliable? I just had mine tested at AutoZone from there and need a new battery for a 2019 Jaguar xe 25t, the most expensive one I found at AutoZone is about $130 for a duralast, I'd of expected it to be more for a foreign car, but with the code thing, for some reason my car has no codes right now so adding a battery to the jumping points isn't necessary right? Don't want to have to pay someone to put the battery in sorry for all the questions
