Its a vaquiero shirt. Mexican cowboy style from the early 1900's. Its part of Southern history, really common to see in Texas with the Tejanos. Also, that is bluegrass playing for the beat.
Some folks just ain't built the same, if you raised around this kind of stuff it don't bother you none.

The shirt appears to be a Regency, from the early 1800's. The lace necktie falling from the collar is called a Jabot (pronounced /ˈʒæ.bo/). It is the kind the Founding Fathers would have worn beneath a stiff collared double breasted vest and tailcoat. The necktie at that time was still more of a napkin, having originated as napkins tied around the neck for formal dinners; later getting the napkin dirty became a sign of a lack of discipline, so ties became narrower or less pronounced than the fancy lacy jabot.

Now that there music is the type music we sit n play on the back porches in the Appalachian Mtns here in Tennessee 🧡 love my home here in East Tennessee and so proud of Upchurch & what a brilliant artist he truly is. The guys driven & reps alot of folks here in the south as well. He has so many wonderful beautiful qualities I could go on for days but I just straight admire everything I've seen him do & especially where his heart is & what he stands for. Makes me proud & has inspired me & many even raised my hope. I truly believe he will be a legend .I don't doubt that

Some of us 80’s people enjoy this type of music, because we grew up in the country, but loved hip hop and the genre, but we couldn’t relate. I’ve never drove down Crenshaw in a low rider sipping on gin and juice, lol.. it’s music we love with a message we can relate too. It’s sad that many people still do not consider this real hip hop, or country white guys aren’t real rappers.. it’s crazy but they bringing the hip hop back

We takin it like we took rock. There's some great black rappers these days like Dax, Tec9, Second Chance, but most are about the money these days and not the music. That's how others creep in, making it the music, making people FEEL. Music industry has corrupted music for the dollar. There's only a few pop artists that I like(probably dating myself, but oh well). MJ and Savage Garden are about it for that with me, as those make me FEEL it. The others, not at all. Rock and metal is where I feel LIFE. Country rap has creeped in.

It's an old fashion you would have seen the frontiersmen wear around the beginning on the 19th century, I think
This shirt is a serious cross between 'real' old time shirts worn in the 1500 & 1600's (pilgrims) and a type of peasant shirt worn in the 1960's and 1970's. Think bohemian or gypsy. It's a definite mix of styles that someone designed, created a pattern for and sold. That or he had someone do it for him. A good seamstress can mix patterns to create a new look.
