Honestly this is the largest reason i love Upchurch as an artist he's not restricted by anything he's genuine, his music is genuine. Everything he makes has feelings in the song it's like nothing else is these days.

TL was my very first favorite country artist when I first started listening to country music around 1990. Church is like the new school old school dawg and one of the realist ones out there. The really great thing about Tracy Lawrence is he genuinely loves music, and artists. He is at the time in his career when he can be more honest about his old interactions. Plus, he can easily talk with a rapper/singer like Upchurch, Colt Ford the same as Tracy Byrd, or Lorrie Morgan! Love it. I love music so much, and love hearing these artists talking about music! Tracy does a great job making people feel comfortable, and easily open up!

I grew up in Ozark county Missouri in the 70s and 80s, this reminded me of sitting on the porch at my grandparents house listening to all my uncles telling stories about their lives. I gained a new recognition of my family through these stories, and I feel like I learned more about Ryan and Tracy today. Growing up in the 90s I had my by far top 2 fav country artists I grew up on. It's always been since I was 5 and always will be #1 George Strait and I've always said just a smidgen behind him for me was Tracy Lawrence. Neither Man has one bad song. TL - You wouldn't know me from anyone. Worked LOCAL CREW at Lanierland Music Park in Cumming Ga. for 13 years. Got to ride in the RaceCar seat ON TOP of the Truss Lights running a mini-spot. About 150 Degrees up there on top of those cans. Ended up as Assistant Stage manager. I lived it with yall as a nobody, but now I play those old hits live for pennies, because that's the music I LOVE!!!

I remember you had to sit on a stool because you had broken either your toe or foot and the quote "these damn pointed toe boots are killing the hell out of my feet" had the whole place rolling with laughter.
