You tube introduced me to Jelly Rolls music about 2 years ago, I'm 56 years old and will listen to about anything. His music touches my soul, if it's not something I have lived a family member, or friend has. Don't stop what your doing,
Tracy, I met you years ago when you were first starting out. I believe you were 18 yrs old. You were playing a New Year's Eve show in small town Valley Park, MO. As I watched you perform Sticks and Stones, I told my husband that young man was going make it. I remember you being very humble, kind, and respectful as you took the time to speak with people at the end of your show. I have been a fan since that day and have followed your career. I love TL's Road House. May God bless this era of your career.
Tracey , thank you for being a good host and by letting the guest talk without interrupting them. So fun to hear Jelly or any other person talk or explain something without 100 interruptions. Goes to show what a true person and show this is. Thank you.
I've seen ALL the jelly interviews. this was one of the best for sure. and I just got back from the bridgestone show and he's not bullshitin... he puts on one hell of a show. mad respect to jelly roll
I don’t even listen to country music but when my ear caught Jelly Roll I was hooked (on him) ever since. He’s the real deal deal and is truly a rags to riches story.
Tracy Lawrence was the music of my childhood through my late teens and now that I'm in my late 30's I'm enjoying Jelly Roll too. Would love to hear them do a song together.
Awesome interview.. always been a fan of Tracy and Jelly... Grew up jamming Tracy while camping out in backwoods KY as a young teenager. These types of interviews are what makes history... war stories makes a mfer fight harder to succeed with their own high standards. You hear this man say they contributed to country music by doing that, which makes you want to contribute by doing this. Great interview... watched it from beginning till end
I could listen to Jelly Roll talk forever. He is so interesting, hilariously humble and just an overall a good dude who didn't let his trauma define him as a person and it's refreshing. I wish my Dad was still alive because he would've loved this podcast. He was a huge Tracy Lawrence fan and I think he would've loved Jelly Roll. Raw, authentic music and people is what he loved most and these two men are exactly that. ❤️
Been listening to JellyRoll for about 10 years or alittle more. Such a nice guy. After concerts he will stay all night meet and greeting. Smoke a blunt with you in a heartbeat. Laid back guy. I grew up listen to Tracy Lawrence. Your a legend interviewing a upcoming legend. Jelly helps millions of ppl daily. He is a beautiful soul. Save him at all cost.
Hey Jelly Roll, you are so right to just be honest & humble about your past. I bet there are many, many people that have a past that they try to hid away. Including me. If my parents knew the stuff I did in HS & if I’d ever gotten caught doing any of it!!! Whew! People are so mean these days to judge & point fingers, make fun of your defects… Being a real, honest, kind man is the thing that matters. You’ve turned your life around & that’s just wonderful! God bless you & your family!
Its so mind blowing seeing these two sit down together. If theres a day both of these fellars dont hit my speakers between smoking section and good die young i havent turned music on that day. But i believe TL takes the most spins on my playlists.
Tracy is my favorite country artist from my early years....loved all his stuff in the 90's and just all of it....he's a legend....💯🇺🇲 thank you 4 this podcast.....
First time I have watched a podcast cause I seen JellyRoll was on it not knowing it was Tracey Lawrence that I grew up listening to and they are the most natural environment talking men I really enjoyed watching my first podcasts . Thankyou for a great experience. And I hope JellyRoll always stays humble as I seen him on this show this morning.
So proud of my dude Jelly. Been listening to J for 20 years and I've known him for about 11 years and to see Jelly Brabo Gator achieve their dreams is f#cking awesome
Lucky Larry :) I bet Jelly and Bunnie have great energy and lots of laughs. Cherish those friendships. I wish I could sing background for him. Either way, as someone who came from a similar life, to see him make it, and bring so many people together with deep real music, I am honored to have been able to hear it. Gives my kinda people, Hope...
Much love Jelly! Over the years you have inspired me, I'm a ex 23 year addict, been clean 6 yrs now, through it all your music has been front and center in my life, thank you brother! Tracy, Ive always loved you as far back as I can remember! You and all the 90s country inspired me to pick up guitar! Thank you to brother!!
I am a new 60 year old fan of Jelly Roll and a long time fan of Tracy Lawrence. I am just listening to everything Jelly Roll, from his music to his interviews and this was one of the best yet. I truly enjoyed getting to see Tracy, and FYI, I will be listening to more of his Podcasts, and I have fallen in love with Jelly Roll's music and his goals. I am definitely going to catch him the next time he comes to Ohio, and when I get to Nashville for my first time, I am going to fingers crossed - hopefully run into him in one of the old bars on the strip. Well done all of you!
I’ve been a Jelly Roll fan from DAY ONE (way back when..) I never did understand why he was never big like all the other country folks. He deserves all this!!
Jelly roll is another one that is just an amazing person telling his life story and doing some great things for people giving back, incredible guys him and TL, just seen the interview with Upchurch.
Grew up listening to you and loving you Tracey ❤ you were my favorite country singer in that era, now I’m Jelly’s biggest fan just seen him in Orange Beach, Alabama was totally amazed, you are absolutely amazing Tracey and Jelly, thank you Tracey for doing this podcast I enjoyed every min of it ❤
Great conversation loved it!!! Love you jelly I’m 70 years old and you sing sing beautifully from my heart. You say you write musicFor people to feel to not just here and your music is so touching io my soul!!!
Yes, I would personally love to hear your theory @Upchurch. I stand behind you 4 life. Everything you did to help find Kiely was so selfless and I applaud you for that as well as the genuine, big hearted skin you are 🤘🏻. You are an amazing artist and you will always have my support! #CREEKSQUAD4LIFE
This is the 1st I have seen of this channel and I absolutely love this interview with Jelly Roll. He is my favorite of all time cause he doesn't fit in any just 1 label. I love seeing you both just sitting there talking. I think country music lacks the story telling it use to have and really hope to see it come back with the change it is going thru. No matter what Jelly Roll sings about there is a story most can relate too and he is just amazing cause with each song he hits souls no matter what he sings.
I went to that dec 9th concert and it was amazing. Everything here did about getting there and finding a sitter and driving hours for me and my husband to be alone the first time overnight together in years was all spot on. It was worth it and we’ll be going to see him again this year! Love jelly roll music
Two of my favorite artists! Love them both. Tracy and Jelly have both got me through some hard times! You both are great men in your own rights. Respect ya both. God bless y'all!
Just meeting Jelly roll but I Love Tracy been a big fan for years saw him in concert in Littlefield Texas home of Waylon Jennings 30 + years ago but I love my Texas Tornado 🌪️ man!
Jelly Roll outs on an amazing live show, ive seen him 3 times in the last year, and can't wait for him to come back again, and Tracy Lawrence was freaking awesome on Friday night in East Grand forks, so glad we seen the show advertised, thanks for the great show Tracy
,, ryan is so RIGHT on so many issues in the US and CANADA 🇨🇦 i just love his art so much, he turns everything gold when he touch it. It amazes me as i watch some of hix older stuff, hes really rolling along down lifes psth like a smooth Sunday drive, no going down wrong roads, no stopping at unnecessary stops, following his gials, leading the industry, i swear the CMT artists?????I are following your music too ,,, AND CRYING, because they have rules and cannot play as free as you
I'm always a fan before anything else, and to see good people making it is something that i love seeing when people you follow through out there careers finally getting recognized.
There's definitely not enough people just wanting to lift there fellow people up everything has become so serving of self that when it's genuine to see people doing that is inspiring and making such difference.
I did not know Tracy had a podcast. I will be watching and liking all your videos. I grew up to Tracy, Alan, Tim, Faith, Jo Dee, Kenny, Garth, Hank, George, Willie, Waylon, Hank Sr, Johnny, and now I'm worried I'm leaving one of the greats out! Anyway Jelly and Church deserve to be right up there with the best of em. Nothing but respect to all of you.
I grew up listening to Tracy Lawrence because my momma listened to him, and my daughters now listen to Tracy Lawrence and Jelly Roll because I listen to both of them. Loved this podcast!
I wish he’d talk more about his long time rap career. Jelly was excellent at rap music too. I’m happy hes doing country he’s definitely got it going on.
I've been engaged with Tracy since Southeast Florida Fairgrounds Show in 1993....West Palm Beach.... fell in love with the heart and soul in his music. Still such a cool dude. Love being a fan of such an awesome guy for so long. I had been raised on country , but embraced my roots seriously through his live show that long ago and I'll always be a country fan.... 45:57
Tracy, thank you for being part of the soundtrack of my life. Born in 1972 & was lucky enough to grow up before social media & cell phones. Got to enjoy your music when it came out on the radio & the music videos on CMT. I found Ryan Upchurch on RUclips in 2015 & I have followed him ever since. He has a big following. We are known as Creeksquad. He was born in Nashville & grew up in Ashland City. He's my daughters age & he's a great guy. I wondered if you knew about him. Jelly was at his house not long ago. Also, Tom Macdonald is dropping a new song Friday. He is very much against what is happening to our country & things of that nature. God bless you Tracy! God bless America!
Jelly is so spot on with his concert goers!! I love you JellyRoll! Tracy will always be such a large part of my up bringing! You’re both awesome and talented individuals! Thank you both so much for the insight and great podcast!
This was by far the best Jelly Roll interview i have watched TL man you threw out some amazing questions and the whole vibe was just spot on GOD BLESS you all and thank yopu for this
Tracey I am not sure if you will see this or even get told about this pal, but I must say this. Pal back during when Time Marches On and Texas Tornado was big, man your songs brought me through an extremely rough time. Then later you came out with You Know Who Your Friends Are and dang man I’m telling you during that time it was the worst time of my life. Didn’t think I had anyone in my corner. I heard that and thought man you know you have people. I just want to thank you for every album that you’ve made. I know it’s freaking cheesy as heck. But thank you pal. And I hope you put out another album that puts the ones I grew up on to shame.
I remember 15-20 years ago sitting on the loading dock out back of The Stage smoking and to my right the side door opens to the Rhyman Auditorium and Charlie Daniels comes walking up the stairs. Super Cool experience. He was the nicest guy.
In arnd 2000 or 99 my girlfriend who ended up my wife found out how much i was a Tracy Lawerence fan since 93 and we went to wild adventures in valdosta ga. just so i could see my hero and get a pic with him,it was Tracy Lawerence,Joe Diffy, and Mark Chesnut..I Loved them all but I was determined to get a pic with Tracy,it was daytime before the concert that night and we were walking around the zoo,and some guy said" hey thats Joe Diffy!" I looked at 3 golf carts with security on them and seen Tracy..as Tracys golf cart pulled up to the giraffes so he could show his baby daughter the animals i slid right past the last cart with security on it and walked up behind Tracy and said "hey Tracy can i get a picture?" he was kinda stunned and put his arm around me and said" yeah man" we got a pic and It made my year,Thank you Tracy.
Wow..... Yall literally talking about my generation!! This is so awesome. Never would of thought this time would come were you focus on the people and not genre of music. TIME MARCHES ON
Love both of yall. Thank you so much for the stories Tracy I had such a great time listening to this. Lots of laughs and great history of Nashville. Thank both yall for your gifts and contribution too music and entertainment.
I only wanted to say that I just learned who jelly is and the thing that most impresses me is how real this man is. His music seems to come from a genuine place. Very good interview!
The reason why I respect these two is not because of the great music they have recorded, it's that on the road to fame they remained humble. I only will claim to be a fan of an artist you first make great music but also understands that doesn't define them. I say that because I find it hard to separate the artist from the art in most cases. Jelly Roll is on of the most genuine artist across all genres of music. Jelly Roll is as real as they come. I ran into him back in 2011 at the Avenue and the only change I see in him is the smile no longer leaves his face. You get what you give is so true of a statement and I wish both these artist all the best and thankful for the contribution they have and continue to make in music.
I'm sitting here listening to this now I just heard Tracy Lawrence say you got to leave it all on the stage I seen him singing live in person in my hometown of Coshocton Ohio about 7 years ago and that was one of the best concerts I've ever seen in my life for $10 I got to see the best thing I've ever seen in my life much respect Tracy

I love to see when people are still humble and pay homage to all of them that came before, like I prevail covering Blank Space by Taylor Swift.
TL said it right, when he said relationships just don’t happen because everyone’s runnin. Time marches on.
I wish he’d talk more about his long time rap career. Jelly was excellent at rap music too. I’m happy hes doing country he’s definitely got it going on.
Love that jelly roll feels the way he does about rocking the house when he plays. He really loves his fans.

Hello
Thank you for your love and support all through the years. Thanks for also being a wonderful fan. God bless you
“Tracy Lawrence “
I love y’all just sitting there. Conversation is good to see you laid back in talking take taken you know taking the time out you deserve it.❤
The reason why I respect these two is not because of the great music they have recorded, it's that on the road to fame they remained humble.
I just love jelly roll, he deserves all the success he is having ❤
