This was how I was when I was younger, now where I part care for my Dad; he spends most of his time with of my sisters, a weekend here and there with the other and then a few days with me a week - if I've ordered food and I see him pick at it I'm just glad he's eating since his appetite is less consistent than it was 10 years ago, even if I planned to carry portions over to the next day. When I was younger and broke I'd see him with a couple of slices of pizza that I'd have hidden somewhere in the fridge praying it doesn't get discovered and be in my head like "shit thats my breakfast gone". He's Indian though, on the flipside, my African mother does not do this. She used to actually hide KFC from me. My Indian Dad has generally always openly shared a takeout but my African mum na fiend.
