2500 Warn Winch Synthetic Rope Line install

Finally got rid of my old kicked wire that came on my 2500 warn winch. Didn't last very long until it started to brake at points.so went to harbor freight and got me the synthetic rope line rated for 3000 lbs

Strangely, the cord takes a hook to wind on the winch. All power goes to the metal plate, not the winch. I would wind the cable the other way.
