Great stuff, love your work Luke. I just bought a King Korg Neo and it turned up yesterday. Any chance you could tell me the best way to link it through my KORG Krome EX so as to not have to run seperate sound outs for each Keyboard?🙏
So you lose the tube drive (with Nu-Tube begging to be included), shrink the keyboard, lack aftertouch, add a couple of knobs and a wee screen - and you want essentially the same money as the old questionable-value King Korg? Yes, the sound-generation range and arp is good, the sound quality is very good, and the workflow looks solid. The vocoder is very welcome and is a real argument for this release. It just seems like you guys are selling yourselves a bit short on a regular basis, as though bean counters are hovering over every product decision. There's always a lot to like, but too often there are nagging ways in which releases in recent years seem half-baked. Then you started doing a couple of aftertouch-keybed releases and I thought we had turned a corner. So then we get this. The corner was obviously not turned, as tempting as this is, like a number of others of similar dimensions.
Ooo you do spoil us, lovely piece of kit that is going on my "list"... 😎 p.s Korg UK PLEASE source some more "man size" (XL etc) T shirts as small hasn't been my size for 50 years and I would really like a black T shirt to spark conversations and hook up with other synth nerds... (I don't want a knock off) I know it would be low priority for yourselves although the intangibles from a walking advert could pay dividends... Just a thought. Luv ya stuff! 🎶💯🖖
I am sorry .but in my opinion , I find Korg's new synths pretty 'twee' ,they don't touch any boundaries anymore and have become over comfortable , generically sterile and staid .
