I grew up in Orlando and I do remember when Florida Hospital which is now Advent Health had a BK117 after the S58. They later transitioned to the EC135 and now the 145.
This is great info! Thank for bringing it to us. Keep saving lives and expediting patients to the the care centers that can provide the best care on a case by case basis. You all are truly Angels in the sky!
This is great to see. I hope for all Americans that air medivac services will become widespread and state/government-backed soon, so that many lives can be saved! Europe does it really well, you can do it too!
Too heavy for quite a few of the hospital roof helipads they go to. EC145 is 3,900 lbs. HH-60G is 15,000 lbs. Also, this aircraft is used for air ambulance operations; transfers between hospitals. Not SAR.

Thank you for this insightful video. Florida needs you! Especially now, as soon the conditions are getting better! I hope everyone stays safe now!
THANKS for al the people who make this happen, they are heroes.
This is a great hospital I really recommend it
here on the left sunny coast Medevac flies the EC135 . .. quiet ships for sure.
Roger that Archangel. Beautiful bird. Happy landings evermore

Advent Health is very cool also what's hot fueling?
When they keep the helicopter running while fueling.
Get the price list before hopping a ride. Stories around of 10 minute medivac helicopter rides costing $50,000 and times insurance will not cover it.
Flexibility of clamshell door
Are they saving lives, yes.
Check out the cost for a 20 min, flight, in my area it's an average of $14,000.
Three latches away from ending up even worse 😄 Nah. Mad respect for all EMS. Especially those in the air.
Advent Health could do with a fleet of second hand refurbished HH-60G Jayhawk multi mission SAR helicopter . . .
