"He's just dumb today" confirms my headcanon that there's this strange virus that gets passed around the office that makes the infected person dumb for a day. Amir contracted it first at College Humor and had it for a long time until it occasionally started infecting Jake, and would then bounce between the two. They brought it to Headgum where it found a new primary host in Geoffrey, but it still bounces around to Amir, Jake and Riley as well.
Wait that’s actually the best theory ever.
to me it’s the ghost of Headgum that’s able to possess one person a day lol. turning Reilly into Bad Reilly, Amir into a snack-obsessed weirdo, and of course Geoffrey into a dumbass
