As a cod player that also plays overwatch I can say that the scoping in and out and reloading to have a full mag is something that most if not all cod players do. 😅

He was whining on this dude for no reason tho. If he would’ve died while reloading I could understand his flame. But in 99% of the time its a good force of habit to reload every single wastes second staring in the scope. The math have been done. You’re way more likely to die to the lack of 5 bullets in the mag than to die in these quick reloads (if done correctly) there’s a reason every single pro fps player does this in every other game than OW (apperently)
I genuinely think that half the player base doesn’t know what other hero’s ults do. If they did, surely they’d know to combo with others for a team kill. The amount of times I’ve windowed for a soldier ult and he immediately jumps down or does it to the side of the window. DPS players just playing FFA deathmatch basically lol

This is one of those guys that would benefit a TON from some coaching, already has the aim and pretty good decision making. Seeing the bigger picture would give him the confidence/aggression he needs to get to masters. Also to echo what Glasses3 said, try playing with and against people who are better than you as much as possible. It's easier to have good positioning when you've seen it used, and it's easier to increase your pace of play when your survival depends on it. You're on the right track keep going!
There are times, typically you want to use sights when it's either most useful to you, or to your team. If you just died and are respawning then you would usually hold it for a bit, or sometimes in the widow duel, you'll hold sights till the other widow pops it so you negate their advantage
@lethalclips1234 I'm well aware of that but take his first widow ult for example. He had no reasoning to hold onto it and let the enemy regroup and position to the point where they overtook his team. Especially even in Plat walls come in very handy just for cleanup. His aim is great and with a fast charging ult like widows he could have it often enough
Widow ult is honestly not that useful. It's only useful in widow vs widow to get a one up on them; but if the other widow has it you're back to neutral. That's why it's usually held onto. Pop widow ult to counter the enemy widow ult. If they don't have widow it's usually beginning of fights to give an advantage, but it's not game changing.
I think this guy plays valorant or used to. The way he holds Bob is acting like how you’d hold an ult in Val. Ultimate build up is far slower in Val, so you don’t wanna waste a super strong ult unless it’s actually gonna give you odds to win a round. Or if it’s early into a half, and u know u can build another. He was holding BOB for the most “optimal” moment but was actually not using it in optimal moments because of that hesitation. Ult builds up so fast in OW, especially if ur using dynamite. Which brings another point which is he constantly held dynamite. Multiple scenarios he coulda used a dynamite for some chip damage, and get it back for the next time it could be useful. Sometimes even waiting for enough time where 3-4 dynamites woulda recharged.
I’m a mid masters player, deranked yesterday from d3 99% (so practically d2) and now am at the bottom of d5, ranked from p1-d5 like 10 times last night. Solo Que is relentless, no matter how good we do, we get bad matches constantly
DPS is the easiest role to carry purely because DPS can get solo kills with absolutely no involvement from anyone else. Ashe/widow can just one or two tap squishies in seconds. Kills win fights. It only looks like a tank diff because one teams DPS is better, which means their tank can just walk forward under no pressure. (Unless one tank is basically throwing)
@@Gymthingz if tank isn’t doing anything, DPS can still get picks. If DPS aren’t doing anything, tank gets blown up no matter what because the tank can’t secure any kills without help
Bro if you went from mid masters to D5, that's not because of solo queue, that's a you problem lol. I solo queue all the time and just stay mid masters and only dip to M5 every so often
I know he is main widow but would be interesting to see what he can do when someone is pressuring you, i would like to see how he deals against a winton or a d,va for example because ranking up is not always because of aim but knowing when you need to swap because you are getting pressured

I do the quick scoping shit too only for movement tho. Idk if it truly helps but I do it so I can move faster I think it’s a result of playing widow headshot or 1v1s
On his widow scope: I mean I know it’s not at the same level but if you watch lip proper or even proud they all fast scope it’s a different play style. Kenzo is more of a hardscoper for example.
I use a second account for playing the Comp with one of my friends because he is gold and I can say, in the EU, I see Widow and Ashe almost at the same level as this guy. I am a diamond player, but the game feels different in other regions. In any case, he is a good player he needs to manage the pressure more. The Baptiste is a diamond player just with the healers? Because he's very good.
I came from cod to overwatch and I must say when I started playing Ashe and Widow I would have that habit of scoping in and out constantly and reloading after like 2-3 shots 😭. Just realized how bad and impactful certain habits from different games can be to other different games 🤣

Well widow main on a sniper friendly map. Kings row also have good spots at the start and end point. Average maps don’t have that. Also tanks didn’t for counter picks same to dive widow so we’ll think about it.
THIS GAME IS SO MUCH MORE THEN AIM… to me overwatch is the perfect combination of strategy games and ffps games.. you can have good aim but you also have to delve deep into strategy… good aim can get you into plat.. but IQ, positioning, working with teammates.. strategy.. will get you into the top ranks.
He’s the craziest part about Overwatch is the solo queue experience idk how these streamers do it im currently masters 3 and man solo aye in plat is almost impossible support suitable but dps unless u get lucky u are in for the long run takes me about 140 games to go form plat 2 to diamond 4 and than after that the game gets much easier ow forces new players into plat I swear the amount of idiots that will try to 1v5 or just not wait for team and try to just sit and wait is insane high play is full of qp bandits and new accounts silvers made to get in silver he’ll checked this one guys profile it was bronze every season until rank reset this past one now he’s plat 2 and let me tell you his aim and brain is still bronze

@@h2woah127 in fact, the whole game now is pressure with mechanical skills and broken characters, skill and tactics have long been in last place in Overwatch. This only works at high ranks, where players' skills can compensate for the characters' weaknesses.
I am GM and I would really like to have a widow like this on my team not gonna lie. Widow is a really strong character due to her ability to handle most situations alone without a teammate. Widows abilities are not useful unless the widow player is good himself so widow is a pure skill character and many people called him out for having bad game sense but he was good with sound cues and positioned himself very well. I think he deserves at least masters in every aspect. Jay3 is right about scoping tho the way he zooms out after each shot is a bad reflex but whenever he kept his scope in he just got more kills. He is good and many haters just calling him out like "only your aim is good tbh" they just golds bruh

Im high silver low gold but can keep up with friends who are plat to masters. If you have good team cohesion it makes the game far easier to play.
