Bliz does detect the cheaters, their stance is that they don't immediately care. They're just making a list of all the naughty children, checking it twice, and then banning just some of them, twice per year.
Blizzard doesn't detect the cheaters! Writing anti-cheat scripts for a videogame can be difficult because all a cheat scripts have to do is find a small work around. For example, blizzard may detect a basic "lock on model" aimbot. Now, what if the aimbot is locking on to a small certain pixel inside the model? It's the small things that are everchanging like this that allows cheats to bypass an anti-cheat script.
@@fus3n reports can be difficult. On daily average around 6.5 million players are playing overwatch. Take into account maybe there are 750,000 reports. Again, these are false numbers, just taken from chat gpts averaging tool. Now, you have a large team who sort through these. Persey 1,000 employees. They have to sit through watching hours of footage a day to then see if the report is even valid. So again, it's difficult to say blizzard is 100% banning a large number of cheaters.
There needs to be a mix of mainly wave bans. But a clear rage hacker should get banned based off of reports and observation rather than a cheat detection.
The wave bans do tend to catch more people than non-wave bans. Buuut... Letting the cheater hit rank 1 gives them more bragging rights, and also puts the cheats more into the spotlight, i.e. gets the cheat devs more money as people are more interested. "Ooo that can get me to rank 1!?". They don't care if they're banned at that point, they peaked.
@@Fanboy-hf1iu Doesn't have to be. The fact that he's using cheats at all, visibly so, means that others will be interested in the cheats - no matter what cheats they are.
Don't really understand the whole it has to be one or the other mentality that so many people have. I get not wanting to immediately ban cheaters so that the people building the hacks don't know what triggered the detection, etc. I can even understand that banning so many at once can cause the bot makers to have to issue refunds or whatever. But I don't know why Blizzard can't individually ban some of these people that make it incredibly obviously that they are cheating. Much less those that get into extremely high level games with the games biggest content creators.
So, if you want to get cheaters banned... report them for communication... got suspended because of team mates reporting me (even after calling me worse) but yet cheaters don't get banned for months... what a joke of a game.
They like to talk shit on console ranks but once your in diamond two or higher, half they people you play get to use mouse and keyboard with aim assist
but yet my account got banned for calling cheaters out in game chat and their 5 stacks reporting me, proof from blizzard to that the last things i said that got me banned was calling out cheaters, they dont care about cheaters but for the love of god you better not say gg or its toxic
Think about this everyone. We live in a world where blizzards report system wastes NO TIME to “discipline” its player base for toxic chat but couldn’t be any slower to discipline cheaters. Unreal…
I got called a cheater in a QP game the other day on Hanzo. He complained that my crosshairs weren’t even on him when I killed him. He was referring to me bouncing storm arrows off a wall and actually hitting him lol.
Its okay jay, they're too busy looking at reports for "inappropriate names" ... my name was "coca" ..... love how they can take their time to look at reports for names but not cheaters. Great work Blizzard.
I get the appeal of wave bans in terms of corporate value. But for players it feels attrocious. I honestly dont care that you banned 1k players if i just spent a month playing against them. Same thing in other games as well. When it comes to hard aimbotting they just need to be banned immediately, because it just completely ruins the experience for everyone
Number one issue with this game is all of the default player icon/title/skin accounts in every game. Are they new? are they smurfing? are they cheating? Fix your game Blizzard.
The thing i love with the game krunker is that if you're respected in the community, the devs will give like streamers the ability to ban hackers you can report them then anyone with the power to do it can get into that game and watch it play out to see if they are hacking it's a great thing if people don't abuse it
i've played against this guys its sad that they don't ban as soon as it's detected i get that it would help cheat makers counter the system easier but whats more important company costs or losing customers to a bad experience and losing profits for the company
So basically to get rank 1 on widow , because he got a 1 or 2 kills and it instantly scares people into playing passively and that creates so much space that even if he dosent land shots after that, his team can take advantage and get the kills needed to win in some situations. Altho he did lose here so thats great to see...
Valorant is also doing wave bans with vanguard but at least they recently implemented RR refunds for the games they lost when playing against a cheater that got banned (rr is valorant version of sr)
Why am I not surprised that the cheater is using a Korean name. Maybe having a culture where being ruthlessly mocked for not being extremely good at video games is bad, and it incentivizes the worst kind of player behaviors. I genuinely think that the anti-cheat system just was another lie, just like the PVE was.
It's humiliating when you suspect someone of cheating, but you can't prove it, because there are cheats that are not obvious at first glance and you need to analyze the replays in detail. And other players, instead of listening and checking the replay themselves, will start insulting you and accusing you of playing poorly, and not another player who may be a cheater. Humiliating. I recently played against Widowmaker who was using a hidden aimbot, at first glance it's undetectable because it does not miss every shot, but if you watch the replays you can see that the movements are extremely unnatural and the reactions are way too fast. Also trigger bot is very difficult to detect, but lately this cheat is used more often, because of it.
That account would have been expensive then because somebody be it this cheater or not took a whole shit ton of tike to complete that many required games just for the account to definitely be either banned or the players start targeting you in game such as what occurred in this video
You mean Vanguard? Don't people still complain since it can affect performance because it runs in the background on pc? And something about how invasive it is?
I honestly don't see the point in cheating online... like what bragging rights do you get from it? Who are you gonna show it too that you are at a high rank? As soon as they see you play you're just gonna embarass yourself,... all you achieve by cheating is ruin the game for others and potentially ruin communities that keep your games alive. If not for game companies being so greedy and that they would probably exploit it, then cheating online should honestly be fineable. Now adays there are soo few shooters that i enter where i don't question cheaters, because it is so extremly difficult for someone like me who is usually at a very low/mid tier rank in shooters to differentiate a smurf/cheater/prodigy/someone whos just not climbed higher yet...
