I had WC for breakfast this morning. Haven't seen this in years. I enjoyed it more now than ever. Especially when the sand bag knocked him down. "Not fit for man nor beast"
So many of the skits probably would not be allowed today--but I really did enjoy watching- the Bank Dick is another one that is so funny but hard to find to watch- thanks for posting
OTHER THAN THE THREE STOOGES WC.AND THE 3 STOOGES WERE THE GREATEST EVER LIVED IN REAL SLAPS STICK COMEDY 😁 NO ONE WAS IN THE SAME ROOM WITH THEM.MOVIES LIKE THIS AND HOI POLLIO. 1935.WITH MO LARRY CURLY LIVE ON STILL IN 2024 NOW THAT'S TRUE COMEDY 😁🙏 AMEN WITH RESPECT AND LOVE 💞 FROM CHI-TOWN😢
Interesting/entertaining. Best next thing to Vaudeville back then-!!!🤗.Had a " Great Uncle " whom played trumpet with Vaudeville back in the day. WW-1 veteran/passed away at (106) years😇
In part of his spiel, he makes vague reference to an old saying, "A N------- in a Woodpile", without saying it directly. Meaning that 'something is not right'! See if you can catch it!
Nothing better than a WC Fields movie to brighten a person's day! He was truly a genius and the comedy never gets old. Thanks for sharing the laughs!
7:01 Lady: "I won't walk another step."
Fields: "Make him drag ya lady, he got ya drunk."
🤣🤣🤣
"Father I'm gonna get married!" "Why?" LMAO

A true classic it never gets old .Often copied never better .
You can see Bergens lips move, but with Charlie they were very funny. W. C. was in a class all by himself. One of his best movies.😊
Never Give A Sucker An Even Break
The Bank Dick
The Man On The Flying Trapeze
"Larceny Whipsnake" that's Larson E.
It’s so clever and brilliantly acted.
" make him drag ya there there lady, he got ya drunk "
Not it. He!
Like a machine gun. the jokes come flying 🤣
You can't cheat an honest man; never give a sucker an even break, or smarten up a chump
Everyone knows you smarten up a chump by stamping on a foot.
@@Cracktaculus No, that's how you make a Not-see cross! Learned that on Hogan's Heroes!
"Hope nothing happens to that fan dancer"... lol
Love WC's haughty-naughty smart ass remarks and his nastiness to little brats.
This was one of his many.Check out him at the golf course, and as a dentist. 😅😅😅
I remember theses movies when I was younger in the early 50s they always made me laugh 😂 😮😅 thank for sharing this video
They do black face in this movie. Let us celebrate this rarity
Best movie ever made! Yas!
WC was so droll in his humor it was very British like. Trite and to the point like a slap in the face bam!😂
True, what is that accent?
Great movie
Thanks for posting 😂😂😂😂
What year did this come out
Look early on in the opening credits for the year of copyright. It's at the bottom of the screen.
1938
W C Fields is one of my heroes . though the ventriloquist in this film , wasn't too good by today's standards .
At the parey It's hilarious how LOUD Fields is talking. 😂😂😂
*party
Good movie .
Can you play It's A Gift " !? 😊
William Claude Dukenfeld was great!
Love WC❤
You MUST add the opening and closing credits are be accused of fraud!
Can not go wrong with Fields..
Yes hope is eternal 🌞☁️♊🐟

They would censor those slaps today. Too violent. Ha Ha Ha.
I thank God I lived in the greatest times to be an American!

I wish I could hear the entire song Fields was singing in the ventriloquist act.
In part of his spiel, he makes vague reference to an old saying, "A N------- in a Woodpile", without saying it directly. Meaning that 'something is not right'! See if you can catch it!
From what state is his accent from?
Fields genius, Bergen not so much. Ventriloquist on the radio, what a concept!
It's funny not many people notice that ! 😮
I guess you never saw him on television.
OMG, that was hilarious! 😂🤣
it's a gift
LoL lapel tuggers☁️🌞
Then, when men had names like Phineas.

Fields,one of.😅
Tarduple!☁️☀️
W.C can talk some serious trash!. Kool Cat!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Too much Bergen. A wonder that Fields didn't get 2nd billing in this one.
That’s Jack Benny when he was younger
Jack Benny? Where?
The movie has been chopped. Not the complete work of art. 👎⤵⬇
Why does W.C. Fields remind me so much of D.J. Trump? 😅
What a disgusting thing to say
double talking conman??
Because they're both brilliant.
The president , dry your eyes
Indeed! WC was intelligent, the criminal not so much.
☺️😂😂😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Not 8 2024 flash lapel☁️🌞🐟♊☁️♻️
1939
Bergen is unfunny.
Cannot stand that amateur and his dummy.
He ruins the whole film.
Get a grip ffs , it's a film that's nearly 100 years old
Another “English “ film that’s totally American
lol English language....duh....such a clever comment ...getting stuff for free really has lowered the intelligence of the viewing audience
