How this movie never got a sequel is beyond me man
Apparently, according to the director, Real Steel 2 is a possibility! I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet but we shall see 😊.

i feel like this is one of those movies that doesn’t need a sequel, cause you get a very good resolution at the end. there’s not much to go from the end

INVINCIBLE
Its not really impressive, hes built to be invincible. Sparring bots are simply used for training, not fighting. And of course we dont wan these strong bots instantly breaking their “punching bag” so they built them to withstand many hits to last long.

Even though Zeus is still "undefeated," he still got his bolts beaten by Atom.
The real shame is they didn't include where his son got to watch Hugh's character and teared up. As well as the FMC getting teary-eyed as well, seeing what her father saw in Hugh. Poignant scenes!

POV: when you make a pure dps and tank build, but you didn’t expect an opponent with a unyielding stamina build.

Если не принимать во внимание эмоции зрителей, то победа "Зевса" - вполне заслуженная. Учитывая, что у него металл на "голове" и корпусе довольно слабо деформировался от ударов - логично предположить, что его противник тоже исчерпал бы заряд батареи так и не добившись нокаута.
Charlie's reaction is telling. He was a fighter in the old days, so he knew that Zeus had a better fight.
