I feel like Dark lost this on purpose to avoid facing Maru in the Round of 8? He basically threw game one when he had the chance of winning it... Something doesn’t add up right. Correct me if I’m wrong.
idk about that. Ppl only do that when they know for sure they'd can win the final match. Given how Dark's series vs hero went idk if he could be 100% certain that he'd win against whoever's coming out of the loser's match.
I've thought about this before and I suppose it is possible it has happened. Ignoring the intentional match fixing for bets or pay-offs, which I think is wrong, and only talking purely about the exact scenario or dropping games to get into a different bracket... I'm actually okay with it. I mean, nobody in the GSL RO16 is weak and if you gamble on getting out of the group in the loser's match, then whatever, gamble. And if you lose, you're out of the GSL. That said, I don't know if I'd go as far as saying this is what Dark is doing. I'm a huge Dark fan, but one of the angering things about being a Dark fan is he has this tendency to just drop games like this. He has been consistently in the top 2-3 best Zerg's in KR (and really the world), yet he can never seem to string enough of his good play together to take down a lot of tourney's. He will get to say the RO8 or RO4 ezpz and then just drop out with weak play. Sometimes he will throw out these awesome macro games, and other times it is like "WTF are you doing Dark, you look like you are playing in silver league". If he could just learn how to string together those awesome games a bit better, we could actually see him start taking a lot of first places. Until then, I kind of expect him to get knocked out in the RO4 :/
yeah i guess it's possible given that it's dark. Also Hero looks pretty shaky in recent tourneys and maybe these players know one thing or more abt each other's capacity and form than we do.
@@mindyourbusiness4440 More like 13 probes a Nexus and a few plyons plus alot of army units. If Dark was a little less greedy in the main with the spine crawlers he could have done more.
at 12:55 , bite, zergling, bite, bite faster, dam nexus, die, so you can spend another 400 minerals to make it, hahahaha!!! but, dam protoss, they recalled army back home!!! DAMN!!!
Awesome games with my favorite caster duo , funny how a commercial in Korea brought me to buy mountain dew XD its actuelly pretty tasty didn't know they sell it in my country.
Damn dark didnt even flinch at the electric shock lol
Hero: I can list a dozen times when I wanna smash my keyboard on SOS's head :D
DAAmn, that first match is epic!

Sry, but how was that a comeback from dear in game 1? Dear was never behind...
entertaining games! Congrats to Dear!
good god since when dear became such a beast ??!
It wasn't a come back in game 1. Dear was ahead in workers army and upgrades after the nydus. Dark basically only killed a nexus and some pylons.
That first game...!
Why is everyone roasting rogue in those lie detector bits, that's so funny.
Goddamn Dear refusing to die.
Dear looks cracked out. His eyes are buggin.
good game
gj Dear
