I always ask myself how a mega-super-ultra star like Dimash is neglected and almost ignored by Western commercial media... well, that's perhaps the reason, Western media are COMMERCIAL and POLITICALLY BIASED... but they proclaim FREEDOM... Dimash, just the BEST

I love that Dimash nit only composed the music for this but has actually written the lyrics too. It's from his heart and is just so beautiful. He's baring his soul and even his fears of disappointing those who support him & have helped him. He feels a huge responsibility to give back & not let anyone down, at least that's what I get out of this. He is such a rare talent but also a rare person who remains so humble & doesn't take anything he has acheived for granted. Its no wonder he is so loved across the world & by everyone who works, or has worked with him. He is unique in so many ways and his endless gratitude to his family, teachers & anyone who has helped him or supported him also adds to his uniqueness in that he will never forget what they have done or what they mean to him, no matter what life brings, he will remain the wonderful, caring & loving human that he is & will always be loved because of that as well as for his immense talent.

It has quickly become my favorite Dimash song. He is a very private person and to write a song for his fans on his birthday to show his appreciation and his inner feelings is a tremendous gift.

He genuinely appreciates all the appreciation, but also carries the weight of huge expectations; from fans, from his country. Perhaps none greater than his own unrelenting pursuit of continuous improvement, to be the best that he can be.
I Hope he gives himself permission to make mistakes! To mess up from time to time! He's human just like everyone else,{ despite all the silly talk about aliens!}. We saw him 'chafing at the bit' to fly outta the gate again and resume the momentum, after the enforced pause of the pandemic, but I hope he gives himself sufficient R & R time, to relax, have fun, do nothing! I saw your shocked face when he met Jackie Chan. He met him in 2017, when he was on the Singer show in 2017. I am Singer is a Chinese singing competition show for established singers and Dimash was invited on as a wild card. After the first episode aired, he sky rocketed into stardom in China. And Jackie invited him to his home studio. Later Jackie invited him to sing at one of his movie premieres/festivals and eventually to sing a song on his movie. You ask if it would make you act differently if you watched something like this every year. Most people probably it would. But Dimash, who keeps his private life private. I don't think so. Thank you Roscoe for this reaction. This song is personal, introspective, bittersweet and a song of gratitude. Dimash started his musical journey when he was 5 years old; belongs to a musical family. He didn't had it easy to accomplish fame & fortune; what he has now. I remember, he participated in a singing competition when he was 17 or 18 in Kazakhstan and the judges' ridiculed him for his style of singing & voice but he never wavered nor complained. He just continued & pursued his dream. The journey has not been without trials; he lost mentors (due to Covid) & friends (due to crime & sickness) but he also met some great ones along the way. He's only 29. I'm sure he will continue his journey & probably meet his heart's desire along the way.
Great reaction, per usual. Dimash, what a shining example of a real human being he is ! He admits to having a bit of a temper (as do I) but we’ve never seen it. I can’t say that for myself. 🙄. Love this young man & I’m 74 !

This is Dimash last post, “I would like to thank the director of the music video, Galym Asylov, for bringing my thoughts and feelings to the screen.”
A new chapter of his life starts in Los Angeles. He finished the video with Walter Afanasieff and David Foster. What ever they are creating together is something BIG that we will find out SOON.
There was a song with Walter that could not be completed because of COVID and I suspect they will finish it now.
