  • Do you struggle to write the perfect English email at work? How formal or friendly should you be when you are writing to a colleague, your boss, or somebody at another company? Can you use 'Hi' in an email - and how do you end your email so that someone will reply? In the first episode of Office English, Pippa and Phil talk about their email habits and suggest some useful phrases for different work-related situations. (Cover image: Getty)

    Dear BBC learning English
I have been learning English by watching the channel. It helped me a lot and I could improve my English skill. Now I'm quite confident and getting ambitious as I learn more and more. And always kind regards.

Although I ve been working for 7 years in companies with the international environment, I hesitate sometimes if my e-mail is too formal or too loose, therefore, I was always using formal language.
Keep it up this series please :)
